I accidentally dropped my ps5 last night and i damaged my hdmi port. Im glad i foijd your channel and just sub. How much will charge to replace mine? I can send it to Sony, but they said itll take 3-4 weeks smh
13:20 I saw those pointy bamboo stick Q-tips on amazon. They any good? they look like they perform way better than my "Walmart special" brand. Edit (finished observing video): Bro, you definitely leveled up on this one! In proxy you have leveled me up. Much obliged my good sir. Also, I love how you utilized the space on your scope camera. Generally, your whole set up is pretty awesome.
The pointy Q-tips are okay. They don't absorb much and mostly push the flux and IPA around rather than soak it up. But they also get into tighter spaces, so they're good for that. I'm still looking for the perfect Q-tip, lol. Appreciate the comment! Thanks for watching. I learned a lot with this repair as well.
Hey. We found your videos so rewarding, and were wondering if any prototype services may help? Such as custom PCBs, 3DP, CNC etc. If so, would love to supply freely and reach any YT collab together! (PCBWay luz)

Where can I buy the cap in front of the HDMI port?
Do the diodes go bad on these or something?
link to the dremel?
Can you repair mine ?
Thoses hdmi port are bad bro . I myself have 10 of the hdmi port with the exact same serial numbers 20061235 . Could be I got a bad batch
In this case, the port was fine. There was just a short under one of the pads. Once that was cleared and the port installed it worked fine.
Nice fix. Can I get a Email address for you ?
