Kayo taking Claws with him and so soon after Brute overall gets a well deserved glow up is going to feel terrible. The floors and ceiling of both decks are going to plumet, but as a weird consolation prize, we'll get to see new stratigies finally arise from these decks. They might be nowhere near as strong though.
I kinda hate that Kayo is going to LL so quickly because he is really good to teach new players on. I hope LSS comes out with another easy but strong hero to teach players
I compare kayo with classic street fighter E.Honda or Chun-Li where you only smashed the Punch or Kick-Button to pull off the special move while you haven´t figure out how to overcome that yet. Especially for Character without range Attack like Zangief.
Interesting, he might be a good choice to get my wife to play at home!

I've been here waiting on that armory deck video. I'd especially like to know your thoughts on it and what it means for the known next hero boltyn, and what it means for the rest of them not known
The thing that concerns me is if Part the Mistveil was tuned for a meta that will now have a Kayo shaped hole in it. Is that gonna mean we’ll see one of the new heroes run amok and get LLed in 3 months and we end in a vicious circle where one hero per set is lacking a counter because it already rotated?
Only one way to find out.

I’m fine with Kayo leaving.
He was a bit basic swing bigger deck.
Unfortunately LSS didn’t see new equipment being a problem till after they made it.
I think they are going to be increasing the overall power level with the next set because all of the extended slot are spicy 🌶️

Crazy to think Kayo got all these points without the new chest piece. It could be even crazier now with it. I dont know if he will LL this year but could see early next year. It all depends on how much the new heroes disrupt the meta.

I don’t have particularly strong feelings about Kayo leaving. He’s powerful but I find his play style a little boring. What I am sad about is claws leaving and the huge effect it’s going to have on Levia!

Kassai is the most "not annoying" character in FAB!

It's the most fair, basic hero lol. I'm a kassai player though so idk. But feels bad when your op literally makes light angels or shoots arrows that say you can't play the game.

I would have prefered a more "evenly" Spread of winning for all Heroes. But it is in the nature of human to find the easiest solution to circumvent current limitation and the mass would adopt it. This happened with Lexi from TOA as it happened with Kayo from HVY now. Easy to play with miniscule limitation or using card which don´t affect the limitation of the hero nor talent in worse case even dope them. Imo these kinda hero goes against the fundamentals of Flesh and Blood somewhat like the Drones of Brutality. I think it is more rewarding, making a big turn, with the limitation of a hero. Playing a Soulslike Game. I didn´t include Starvo in my example but probably someone else can counterargument it^^
Honestly not sure how kassai did so well. Mist have been in a low prism count meta. Here in my state the PQs were like 20% prism. I consider myself a good player and a good kassai pilot. I top 8ed two events after all but I felt I had no way to win. Got smacked on one event by a prism and a teklo, went to bottom table for the first time... wasn't fun
If its not the player then its the deck. Maby your deck did not provid you with enough answers for the differen threats in this game.
Stacking gold (Royal crown, money where your mouth is, Kassai's ability combined with an attack reaction) + raise and army will pressure Teklovossen into oblivion! Since the matchup is pure horror, you need to invest at least 6 sideboard cards.
Vs Prism you can play Cleave to get rid of the angles. You can use Spoils of war to clear angles and get copper token 4 sure. You bring in all your defensive options and focus on preventing herolds entering the soul. You play a very defensive game and stack up your copper.
Once your have 6 copper you can nearly block with your full hand and swing back for with a fully charged blood on your hands. Now the tide have turned. Do this a second time and you should have won. This means you need 12 copper.

Unfortunately I can't watch your videos as a podcast, I need to read the subtitles due to my low fluency with English, but why not make some comments about improvements to Kayo's new product? maybe some tokens with go again? Or armor usage markers would be cool
I think it’s fine that Kayo is powerful. I do think he’s going too fast though. IMO about 2-3 years feels like a good time to be able to play a hero for a while and have them LL out. Kayo has been out for about 2 months and is already halfway there. That’s a bad look for the game imo, having a brand new, very popular hero already be that far along.
I prefer this way, a much played hero got LL faster, very good for the meta. I would love to see this on other TCGs like One Piece.
Ya I don’t love decks being meta for ages. Like Lexi was by no means a broken deck but it was bdif for an entire year and it made the meta very stale. I’d like for decks that prolific to either get a hit on the ban list or just LL out. Kayo much like Lexi isn’t oppressively strong but he is boring to play against.
I think it's very good that the format rotates like this. Even if we want a hero to stay on the format for longer, if it's getting this many wins, maybe it's not really healthy. Even the "counter play" referenced in the video is not that easy, else Kayo wouldn't get this many wins. Maybe HVY heroes were a bit too strong for the older ones and it's fine if they rotate to give room to others.

Very happy with LL changes. Kayo getting way too many points too fast.
Sad to see Kayo jumping out of the format so quickly because I think he's a really fun deck that isn't overpowering. But at the same time with LSS dropping so many new CC heroes with every draftable set They need to accelerate getting heros out of CC or else they are going to struggle to balance CC. Especially sad with Kayo being the introductory CC deck that isn't going to be viable for much longer.
Isn't overpowering? What. These numbers say the exact opposite.....
Eh, Kayo kinda toxic. Being the best numbers deck night but seem toxic because it's not as overt as getting hit by dom'ed Crippling Crush into Winters Wail, but it's still far more powerful than what a lot of heroes can do at the moment.
And no, I don't think Kayo is Starvi 1.5 or anything, but his LL run is only second to his atm.
Yu-Gi-Oh have a pretty decent meta distribution as well.
I haven't played yugioh in 6 years, how is it now ? Worth giving it a try again ?
@@estuschuggerz I do prefer Flesh and Blood, but Yu-Gi-Oh is in a decent meta right now imo.
I started Fab and kayo is who I learned. Now I have to learn a new hero sooner than later 🥹!
You could jump to rhinar! Many cards/equips transfer well and he's also not a complex hero to play. Intimidate is quite fun
