This depends on your jigs theres no generic size that fits all - best way is to size them up next to your jigs and just go with the right size hook for the jig and sacrifice cord length. ua-cam.com/video/dm_AdJdu88I/v-deo.html - i can vouch for these coz I helped develop them and i used a formula that helps with the length and width of jigs if sized with the corresponding hook. The best way is of course to make your own and make everything fit the jigs perfectly. This is the purpose of my making these rigging videos - so you guys hve somewhat of a guide.
Hey kit In one of your videos you said that you dont like to use a swivel on a jig because fish tends to not like when a jig rotates Whats your opinion on the Williamson speed vortex jig The whole idea is that it spins while retrieving i had some success with it in the red sea And thank man for all of the good information ❤
Simple explanation -Fish Will bite almost anything if they get curious enough, especially in waters that are not too pressured. I have tried that jig in pressured water and got strikes, but didn't get one to commit....so, in my experience, they CAN get strikes...but...would rather use something I know is a bit reliable. Swivels can be used - don't get me wrong, you use it when you want the jig to rock/wobble more...BUT you want the jig to just rock and wobble...not spin. Chinese jigs don't have the best quality control, so they spin. Not all, but takes a lot of time to sort through them....or just don't overthink things :)
