Thanks Kit. Having purpose in what you do is a sign of a master craftsman. Being willing to share that purpose is a sign of gratitude for what you have learned. Make sure to get some good rest. Hope you are feeling better soon.

You are also a Crafstman master, The color design for jig and assist is awesome 👌
And yes, I know that you are not a random guy because you are the master of details

Hello, Kit. Could you walk us through how you made that jig look so clean? What primary coat did you use? What kind of paint did you use? Did you use luminous powder or a luminous sticker? Also, what’s your top coat? Thanks and Happy New Year to you!

Practice? 🤣 process is simple actually, and nothing special, i think the video and lighting made it look better than it really is - its very far from perfect. Top coat is pokyuretane but i have quite a few coats because of mistakes. Glow is just powder on clear paint

Hi Kit! It's often time the double assist hook at the bottom of the jig gets tangled with the leader and the jig ends up positioned horizontally. What could be the reason for this and how can I avoid it? Thanks!

If that happens it means you have the wrong rod and technique - typically when we fish we have more than one rod for the range of jigs we have - we dont use lighter jigs on a max 500g rod - we stay close to the top end of the rating. The father you are from the rating like putting a 100g jig on a max 500g rod will result in the bottom hook snagging the leader. To use a 100g jig we use a max 150 rod etc. technique - you are not working it slow enough - as simple as that.

@@TheFishingKitHi Kit! It seems this is really the case because most often it happened when I tried to apply the fast jigging technique to my kensaki jig which is rigged with hooks at the bottom. Apparently any fast technique is incompatible with a double assist hook. Thanks for the explanation!

because I am trying to fill up a lot on rigging different jigs. This one is specific to how I rig unfamiliar ones. I will start with other stuff soon, but the jig rigging videos will be a mainstay.
