The man throwing a childish tantrum in Doncaster because he got caught stealing bikes is embarrassing he calls the officers a bad man when its actually him who is acting like a idiot and a child

At 0:12 "The team are on standby..". BAD ENGLISH. "The team" is a singlular entity (despite being made up of several officers), not plural, hence that should have been, "The team is on standby..".
I found that very useful. Especially the detailed explanation. ''The team'' is a singular entity... Quite poetic. Edit: PS. I'd naturally say, 'the team's on standby'. So I'd get it right - But thinking on it, it can get confusing because of teams and team's. Maybe in critical grammar situations where your life depended on it say, 'team is'.🤠
different type of teams specialised in different areas. it is not just a single team made of of several officers, there are many different teams based in different parts of England that come together in the emergency.
I've never heard a police officer express such a view about an immigrant; it just goes to show that he also recognizes the flaws in the system. THOUSANDS of criminals pouring in and we will be silenced if i go further.
"Almost feel sorry for him...." Why so much sympathy??? Wonder how the police officer would feel if that same guy got hold of his daughter for money purposes!
Just look at the cop cars' reg plate, you can see at the start one of the cars shown are 07, which means the car was made in 2007, so yea would be quite old
Now if you only kept the drug traffickers in jail longer than 1 year you might make a dent . Here in the US you’re spending 10-20 years in a federal prison for that herion .

How old are these episodes? And if the Lantern thing is so important why don't all cars have one as they almost let old mate go... seems to be they have poor tech and limited ways to ID people. maybe show these shows to your money hungry politicians and get the all the supplies they should have in each unit they go out in daily.
The episode aired in October 2013, though the clips could have been filmed up to two years earlier, possibly more. When they get info on the S4, the computer shows it to be October 28, 2011.
Crime is not the way to go out of poverty. But I can understand that many people are desperate. Many people literally can´t afford being poor. If a water pipe bursts and you have a flooding, the washing machine or the heater break down, poor people cannot repair it and get even poorer when they haven´t any savings. The only thing you can save money on then is by buying less food. Which is bad and even more horrible if you have kids.
These people live in benefits and in council flats. The council pays for all the repairs. The tax payer pays so she can go and nick stuff from the pound shop and sell it on and the petrol station. They live better than those of us who work
