In the early 00's I was into the whole goth scene and had an obsession with "alice in wonderland" and anime. So when I came across BM and Chibi. All my boxes got checked. Lol!
@Stepanov Rock Because of the japanese visual kei and gothic lolita dressing styles. The Birthday Massacre took influence from it for their esthetic. Emilie Autumn did too. These kind of japanese bands are also conected with anime, because they do a lot of soundtrack songs for the openings.

She was so young back then this was during my time lol. I;ve been loving TBM since they came out. I have wanted to see them live but i haven't made their shows i am going to catch them next time.
I like it when Chibi gets all growly, aggressive and sinister at 5:20.....I love the dichotomy, that such a scary vocal sound emanates from such an adorably cute creature

I see tbm everytime they go on tour and are able to play in socal, but this concert in particular is so iconic to me, I wish i was there in the audience 😭😭😭 maybe it's just this area of tbm that gives me major nostalgia
you're forgetting this is 2006, they barely had two albums by then, so most of the audience probably didn't even know TBM before this concert, much less knew their songs... plus, you're forgetting.. this is Germany xD
As someone who was very active in the german goth scene at this time and even where at this festival and has seen this concert I can tell you that they where allready a bigger name in the scene.
@@MaxKrovenOfficial Don't forget that the goth scene is much bigger over here in germany especially back in 2006. There where bands that where more popular in germany than in their own countries.

+Eden Everly This was 9 years ago so she's had a lot of practice and a lot more experience with singing live since then. I'm pretty sure this isn't that long after they started getting a bigger following. Not to mention I'm sure the technology that lets singers hear their own voices onstage has gotten better since then. haha (Plus I've seen them live a few times in the past few years and they've always been great)
Ah...I haven't watched a lot of live videos yet. But I've been a professional singer and I'm probably around her age. The techology has changed, but not necessarily in quality, and that really depends on your status and whether you can afford to have your own sound technicians or have to use house system. I can tell you that it has absolutely nothing to do with the sound system (her singing out of tune). It's her vocal performance. That doesn't mean she sucks, nor would I ever suggest that - I did listen to all their albums, and I love her voice! But, yea, everyone has a bad performance now and again. Glad to know it's not that she can't sing live.

I absolutely love this band. I would give just about anything to have been at this show. Because the three times I have seen them live, they were awful. It seemed like Chibi could not hear herself? Me being a soundy kind of guy, maybe that was the excuse? Any other band that sounded that bad live, gone. I still absolutely love this band. Just love. So good. Have listened to them every day day for years.
