Cool use of modern technologies, but I do see one Achilles heel - you’ve also removed the spotting mirrors from the hood. Now maybe there’s another system covering this area and I missed it, but those mirrors are damn handy when maneuvering in tight spaces.
As a trucker myself , there is to much BS here on this truck. I'll stick to the old trucks. I drove a truck that had some of this crap and i hate it. Truck stopped it's self on a highway because it thought it was going to hit something when it was really a sun reflect off a over head sign.
Schneider should think about letting TE’s use this technology specially when you have so many new inexperience driver who had never drove at all or for long period of time before.
Save yourself and don't. they're not a good company. you're just a number to them. they do not care about you and your life. all they care about is you moving the load form point A to Point B. I have worked for them , Swift , and Knights and all 3 just plain suck to work for. Do local work , you'll get better respect. Over the Road trucking just simply sucks as a driver.
All tech in trucks is bad. It stupid to have a computer in any truck. They don't protect any of the drivers. Start applying breaks means slam them on because it can not
Rather dumb to me Because if that computer that controls that goes out or even if you blow a fuse your sol cause you won’t be able to see anything even be able to back up to the dock.
The cameras are fine and dandy and I’m really OK with change. I’m not at an age where I say bah humbug to change. But you’re taking common sense stuff like side mirrors and removing them and asking the driver who is operating an 80,000 missile to rely on cameras instead of what he could see in his mirrors. as far as that collision mitigation system goes…. that system is horrible. If you’re a real truck driver and you have that collision mitigation system, then you’ve been driving in the middle of nowhere and had the system slam on the brakes because it saw a shadow in the road. Like I said before don’t get me wrong technology is great, but some people who are trying to make money and justify their jobs are trying to reinvent the wheel. These younger drivers in their 20s won’t know any different so when they get older and their parents and their grandparents talk about rearview mirrors, they’re going to laugh and say …. What our rearview mirrors, old man. 😢
That is a good thing to use modern technologies in trucking industry. That help a lot👍🏼👏🏼

The look down on the passenger side its way better driver side well you can actually see your self
Wow nice equipment
Looks great! Hope to drive one very soon. Safe features and cool technology. 👌🏻😃
Very informative...thank you very much.
Excellent. Hope to get one!
Great technology 👍👍
If the end of trailer line is accurate then that's a game changer
I’m not seeing any of the usual mirrors as a backup when the computer goes out
What happens when those computers that run that system crash?
Damn I couldn't even imagine that's cool. I wonder if it would help with blind side backing which I hate lol.
Hope me and my boy get one of these for team driving
How does this work with it freezing outside?

Safety first great technology.
Far cry from the old flat top cabover I started with Schneider with back in the day.

You have good truck
Impressive 👏👏
Please I want to work for Schneider.

Nothing like having the mirror eye go out on you on yhe freeway at night. No backup regular mirror....not smart
I have learning but my English is not good
Booooo. Yall will just use all that to nag, bother and screw over the Driver.

Crybaby
I like Schneider tech, but I prefer Prime trucks. Does Schneider offer leasing right after finishing the training miles after the CDL?
