I get spiritbox/periph vibes and I dig it hard. Its super original, yet its vibe is exactly what I didn't know I wanted to hear so badly!
Yesss it also reminds me of Monuments, makes sense since Andy Cizek and all them are in the same kinda covers gang that now have their own bands
this song doesn't hit me on a personal level but the thematics of the lyrics with the subtle visuals tell such a sad story with such a strong beautiful mindset behind the protagonist's POV. 8 months later it still strikes a nerve (in a good way).

I love the greater variety of clean vocal sections. Laurens voice is just too good to be limited to just the chorus. Killed it!
As much as I liked Redeemer I do agree that it went a bit too far into the heaviness and lost a bit of their identity in the process.
Not entirely convinced by this song and I miss the Protest The Hero vibes they used to have. But it's pretty good and I do appreciate that it cuts down on the heaviness a little.

Lauren, you are one of my favorite vocalists and as a musician myself, father of a 2 1/2 year old girl and spouse to an amazing woman whose narcissistic father verbally and emotionally abused her through her childhood and even to this day will put her down, this song hits me right in the heart.

The track carries some undertones I resonate with closely which comes at a peculiar time in my life as I continue to mourn the loss of my father this past December.
As much as that might sound like a detriment, it isn't because it's this form of catharsis that has enabled me to move forward. I've been fully capable of acknowledging the love and happiness, but there's other avenues I had to cross that might cater to the polar opposite that also enabled me grow just as much as the stuff that weighs heavily.
It's this acknowledgment that keeps me optimistic and strong for the future. It's powerful and moving, so I wouldn't have it any other way.
Chris, Dom, Tyson, and Lauren. Thank you. Invigorating prowess continues to shine. Great work and I look forward to the album.
