How to Overwinter Pepper Plants for Better Production & Bigger Peppers Next Year!

Peppers are perennial plants which means they'll continue producing peppers season after season with the right care. But in most climates they are grown as annuals because they cannot survive through the winter. So at the end of the growing season don't throw away your pepper plants. Follow the steps in this video to properly overwinter them so that you can plant them again next Spring. The plants will have better production and produce bigger peppers!

I over winter mine in my heated sunroom and I have peppers all winter long! Thanks for the info but I like having them to eat all winter plus I dig them up before the leaves died! I still have peppers and there flowering and making more! I do replant them in the garden! I live where it can get below freezing. But keeping them is easy!
