Don't sweat your critics, most have never raced, were part of a race effort, or built anything themselves. Everyone starts somewhere. You're a great example of someone who makes it happen on their own. Every racing dynasty started with someone who built the first race vehicle, figured it out themselves, and earned their way in. What you did is more meaningful than getting a seat in a pro vehicle because you are a second or third generation driver/builder. Lots of respect for what you have done.

I have a 94 ranger with 4 billion inches of travel . 4x4 cut and turned TTB 💪🏻. Runs on 4 inch lift coils and some cheap shocks 😂 handles offroad racing like a champ !

I am also from SD, and in 2007 I attended the Baja 1000 with my auntie who was part of the Desert Assassins team, and they were trying to recruit me as a possible navigator for one of their racing series. I ended up joining the US navy instead, but I have always wanted to race. I didn't have the money, or hardly any experience in building, repairing vehicles (I'm an IT). Much props to this dude. I also had a 1998 Tacoma. I also thought about building that for either a hot import tuner truck or pre-runner.
