@@wiscopackers12 My boy, this engine is more than just a cammed V8. You don't make this much power and ultra high rpm with just a cam swap. This engine has pretty high compression, high octane fuel, best flowing heads/state of the art cylinder heads and yes, a BIG cam. That's the only way you will spin 8 to 9,000+ RPM out of a naturally aspirated V8.

EVERY engine that makes serious power, whether a 4 cylinder or a V8, has a big cam in it. Even Turbo and Supercharged engines that make serious power have a big cam. You just don't hear the lopey idle on modern cars due to the catalytic converter/exhaust system. Take that off and you will hear the nice idle like you do on older cars.
So you're whole CAMMED comment just shows you're just learning about engines, nothing wrong with that, like I said.

So amazing to see such high powered technology today. I grew up with an electrical engineer father who liked building motors, especially the SBC, but he was perfectly comfortable with the Fords and Mopar engines too. The original V8 engines had less than 200hp, which I found hard to believe as a young teenager. Now there are powerplants like the one in this Toyota that are so advanced they seem extraterrestrial in origin!
That thing is a total beast, and judging by what I saw, the owner totally deserves it. I mean, he put 3 seats in it so more people could enjoy the fun! Just awesome!
That’s the best use of a NASCAR motor that I can think of!

my 4runner is heavier then your taco and its slow as hell but I want to add a supercharger but no time and its not worth it to put it just yet maybe in 2 yrs.

@@jorgewuzhear It is pass its warranty :O I bought this 4runner in may of this year and its a 2013. Still will be damn reliable but maybe I might purchase a supercharger in 2 yrs or more or trade it in for a different car by then. I do love it still
David you know I also thought of adding some power like that and also a chip or whatever, to switch between fun time and gas saving time. You already know how bad the mileage is in Toyota’s v8s compared to other brands. But I feel the reliability more than makes up for it

@@donald2940 exactly. If he ripped a bumper off, he could probably have another made for a $k or two. The big cost is in the CAD design and mold production.
@@captaincannabis3321 it's not molded, machined so all you need is a machine tool and the CAD files
@@MrCTruck Yes and no. The original pieces are machined out of some type of foam, and those are used to make the molds. The parts that go on the car are then molded from fiberglass/CF/Poly or whatever. The reason the original plugs are machined is because that makes the molds and subsequently the finished pieces as precise as possible. This is how all modern OEM body panels are made.

Normally I don't like truck mods, I've owned a few pick up trucks and it's my favorite overall vehicle for it's multi purpose use, so I don't see the point of putting 900 horses on a vehicle that's usually not balanced in weight, but damn, I freaking love this.
Absolutely flawless build. You can tell that he KNOWS that truck, everyone tripping about “he was way too close to stuff” my man was rippin wellllll within his comfort zone 😂

I love donuts, but I’d like to see this kind of built, (actually all the cars of the channel) make a drag race with one sport benchmark car... Your Camaro should be a good opponent or maybe an exotic.
This is only to understand how is the acceleration of a 400/500/1000 hp resto-mod/muscle car comparing to modern sport cars. Maybe not all your friends would like to submit their jewels in a stressful acceleration race, but, for example, I really enjoy seeing this Tacoma smoke a Porsche or a Ferrari.

I dont know if this build would be legal in Malaysia, but I really wanted to build something like this except I like to build a sleeper looking vehicle for a weekend just to have some fun driving it ...I love NASCAR V8 so much.The vibration, the sound, the smoke, the speed, its the only expensive therapy Im willing to pay without hesitation as long as it makes me happy till my very end❤️🛣️🏎️
