My timeline events play just fine in the editor, but when I press play (game view) they won't work. I'm setting the bindings via script and the object it references turns on and off. I believe it has something to do with that because it's not complicated to just name the start and stop events in timeline. An object I play in the same way but don't turn off or assign via script works fine. As usual, using unity has totally used up my night, because their tools are horribly rigid.
nvm, i solved it. Apparently assigning the gameobject to that parameter doesn't work like it does with all the other track types. You have to specify the visualeffect component. Which is kinda annoying, but hey, if it works it works.
@@kokokrunch9188 Do you know how to open the project "right" ? Bcs when Iam in the scene and I walk, so many or the enviorment/stuff is just black or even invisible :s + I have no sound.
Interesting how the timing of the various VFX components can be controlled in this manner. So would this ultimately replace the Unity particle system? I'm thinking of making tutorials for VFX graph but I'm not sure if I should be covering the particle system anymore
Man, the Spaceship demo truly is stunning!
I FIND YOU EVERYWHERE
I SUBBED
Mind blown 😮
I hope unity can invite some artists to make some videos about making advanced environment in unity again
COOL!
huh? Looks great, but... Do you have anything for mere mortals?
OMG!! IT;S LOOK SO UNREAL.....!!!!!!!
Is there a full tutorial to teach us how to make from nothing to fully functional demo?
Unreal? 😐
Nice Video!
Very useful for our company :D
I wish I had a VFX artist in my team... The VFX graph tool is a really great...wonderful tool.
