Definitely, a must go to place if you're ever in Tokyo. Don't bother with the expensive sushi restaurants, go after the cheaper ones here. The 10$ sushi sets are just as amazing and better than any sushi restaurants in the US. This place also has plenty of samples of everything they sell. It's pretty awesome. And don't bother trying whale meat sample. It's pretty vile.

What is the first food's name (the bowl of rice with meat and onions)? I was asuming it was gyudon but it looks different from the one I've eat. Anybody knows?
Fran Constantine the first one definitley is gyudon (from the big pot) and the second one (from the smaller pot) seems to be butadon. But in the bowl he showed in the zoom it almost looks like there are thin pieces of fresh tuna just like in a tekkadon. But the first one definitley is gyudon :)
Do they really use that much?! I had thought it was a kind of salt like seasoning. With the soy sauce (at least with the stuff we get here in the US) That would be inedible it would be so salty. Am I missing some information?
its: Wasabi, not Wasbasi.....! Its some kind of horseradish, the original japanese one isnt as spicy as the mixes that u can get everywhere else in the world..... since it can only be cultivated in japan, the stuff u buy in a supermarket usually contains only 1-5% real wasabi and is filled with other stuff like raddish, coloring to make it green etc...... :( real Wasabi is really expensive, thats why most brands cheap out and only fill 1% real wasabi and 99% hot and coloring stuff.... ;D
