    Hope everyone is safe during this rough time. Please proper precautions. Yo! Stunted love you for this bruh. Again this why being a student of the game, working on your overall game is so important. Every perimeter player must work on every aspect of the game of basketball. Ray Jackson is a prime example of this. I understand you have to play a role but ball-handling, shooting, defense, etc is a part of the game. Enjoyed this video glad he doing well.

    Very good story. I am a Buckeye fan, but grew up on Fab 5! They are ‘Our’ story as modern day basketball fans.

    He ended up going to the CBA where he was rookie of the year. He balled out in there. But was never called up by nba. Still love that guy's game.

    Cool to see him get some shine. When you grew up watching them you kind of remember what each one brought to the team. You wanted to see them all make it, but wasn't necessarily expecting it. If 3 & D existed back then, thats how he would've been developed into a pro prospect.

      @@stuntedgrowth Dude was all big east 3 yr starter and at the time he played was considered one of college basketballs top players and then nothing I think he had a small stint in the league but never made any noise ...thanks for the reply love the channel

    If I remember correctly he was the lowest rated out of HS. He was an undersized SF, last one to start out of the Fab 5. Appreciate this one

    Ray Jackson has been a success. During and after his playing days. Michigan doesn't have the same success if there's no Ray. Who is to say he would have made the league if he went somewhere where he was to top player. And I'm sure by being part of the Fab 5 opened a whole lot of doors for him.

    I remember recording Ray’s and Jimmy’s games as Seniors and remembering they did really stand out amongst that new freshman class that came in. I didn’t expect both of them to get to the league, it was like I was expecting more from them as Seniors and it wasn’t there.

    Definitely was underrated as a player! I liked Ray’s game because he was solid but most importantly coachable! You forgot to mention he balled out in the CBA but other than that GOOD JOB 👍🏿

    Ray was that dude!! Reminded me of me, not much talent but lucky enough to play. Give you everything you need, but nothing special. But when you make a play, you're teammates go crazy cause you're that dude ✌️

    I watch whole games from 92 & 93 seasons til this day. Ray didn't try hard enough. Should have been working on jumper all summer. He had all the tools to be more.

    Good one bro. I agree, I watched everyone of thier college games. Even if I had a game in college I would tape theirs. He was all around the most talented he was a lock down defender and could gaurd e positions easily. Question though, Do you think had he went somewhere else he would have developed that J and possibly made the league?

      Thanks! Yes I think so. He would've had more opportunity to do so. His confidence was the only thing that hindered the development of his J. Being the focal point and not the 5th man would've developed his entire game

    I don’t understand why Jimmy King wasn’t a 1st rd pick that played 10+ seasons in the NBA! He had it all super athletic, SG size 6’5” could be a playmaker and shoot from the outside

    He and Juwan were the Fall commits so the part about Ray wanting to join all the others is inaccurate. He was a top-75 player and the team was pretty depleted in 1991.

    Jimmy King had some bounce!! And it's easy to say Jackson would've been a star elsewhere but that's not that true... being on the Fab Five might have been the only reason why he was known to begin with. He could've got lost in the shuffle at Arkansas just as easily at Michigan. It's easy to say coulda woulda shoulda.

    Ray could go he made the 5th element of the fab five.He just lacked the confidence I think .Watching him play with them he looked like he belonged to me he played wit a big heart.He was the best defender of them all that’s gotta count for something. Anyway that’s how I seen it. If Chris doesn’t call the timeout and Jalen comes back to the ball like any real point guard I think Michigan wins and Ray gets into the league.Thats just how it played out wasn’t meant to be.Jalen is my guy but I never saw him as a true point guard . He was just athletic enough and a incredible basketball player so he played the position.But in the end it cost Michigan a tittle because Chris tried to bring the ball up the court at 6-10 .

      He just bounced around because he couldn't get along with some coaches and teammates
      I think it had something to do with the Toni Braxton rumor
      Other than that he was a pretty solid player who played 14 years in the league
