Klaus and Rebekah’s relationship is one of the most complex in the show and I really wanted to portray all aspects of it. I’m so glad that you saw what I was trying to show 💖
Klaus in my opinion had a very special relationship with his sisters. His relationship with Elijah was special too. I think there was more distance with Kol and Finn. He loved them of course but he was closer to Rebekah Freya and Elijah.
Rebekah saw him as her brother and defended him against mikael because she knew he was good and didn’t deserve mikaelson treatment for something wasn’t his fault. Freya saw the brother she couldn’t protect. She wanted him to know someone loved him despite his faults. Elijah was like a father Kol was just the wild brother and Finn was just trying to be moms favorite son and was jealous that their mom showed protection to nik when they were human. It would of been cool if they showed Finn bonding with his siblings without his mothers influence. But he was killed Idk if there’s a video of nik and Hayley.

Then that doesn’t make sense bcuz Niklaus is her blood brother so to say she saw him as her brother doesn’t make any sense that something you about a friend. For example my friend is like a brother to me. But to say her actual blood brother is like a brother to her doesn’t make any sense. So I hope you didn’t mean Klaus bcuz then you’ll have to fix your comment. Unless you were talking about someone else but you didn’t clarify who you are talking about.
Well there is a reason they were the bad guys in vampire diaries 💀😅 just shows that everyone has a story in what made them who they are and when Klaus had given his permission raising the glass to Rebekah and marcel that was after they had summoned their father
I've always thought Klaus and Rebecca had a little too much chemistry 😅 especially when you look at Klaus' 2 main love interests, Cami and Caroline. They both are similar physical types to Rebecca and share a lot of her personality traits.
Marcel's and Rebekah's relationship is so weird though. Because Klaus adopted and raised an 8 year Marcel after rescuing him from his biological father/slave Master. Even the villains/antagonists view Marcel as Klaus's son. So it's just weird to see Marvel view Klaus as a father, Elijah as an uncle, Hope (Klaus's biological daughter) as his little sister, but then Rebekah as his future wife/love-interest. And every time someone brings up Marcel and Klaus's relationship on screen, Rebekah is conveniently never around🤣. Except for one time she mentioned that Klaus viewed Marcel as a son, but that was before Rebekah and Marcel's romantic relationship was revealed🤷🏾♂️.
I find it strange too! There are a lot of strange relationship dynamics in the tvdu. First off, all the huge age differences. Damon dating highschoolers but being friends with their parents. Marcel viewing Davina as his child and then his "uncle" Kol dating her. Also, Damon dating Elena after sleeping with her bio mom. In Legacies, Josie has a brief romance with a vampire who used to babysit her. Alaric proposing to Caroline who was his student and friends with Elena who he was guardian of. Just so many questionable choices 😅
I know but I mean Marcel did start it. As a kid he said he’d marry her and even though she could’ve tried harder to say no and say that would be inappropriate knowing how stubborn Marcellus is I wouldn’t be surprised once he was older he would’ve just fought even harder for her love than what we saw in the show. But if Rebekah was gonna be with anyone it as gonna be with Marcel. Cuz remember Klaus didn’t approve of any of her suitors over the years. But he knew in his heart that Marcel was the right man for her bcuz he got raise him up into a fine gentleman so he knew Marcel was good for his sister but he couldn’t let them be together because of his fear of being abandoned he thought once they were to fall in love they’d want to move away and have a life of their own and Klaus be left behind, alone. So he kept them apart. Even though he knew Marcel was the right man.
@@amber.ren_1995Yeah the only two people that was good enough in Klaus eyes was Marcel and Stefan. It just took him very long time to accept Marcel/Rebekah relationship. With Stefan they were found by Mikael and he wanted to keep her protected thats the only reason why he didn't let her be with him in the 20's. With Matt he only tolerated and not kill him because of the gang.
Thing is in the tone is you git five seasons of them fixing their family problems but their the oldest family with so many problems to fix they have their uos and downs

The rebekah marcell part klouse has abandoment issues he is the afair child of his mum hated by his “father” for it his only father figure a man not even his by blood who hated him for his birth tried kill h8m for a thousand years and his mother turning on him when her husband found out about the afair

Tvdu writers did really good job with the redemption arcs, especially with Klaus character.
