LOL, ya I know ever generation thinks they had the best... fill in the blank... but it was true in our case :) Loved every minute growing up in this world! Thanks for watching and the comment, really appreciate it.
Thanks jackr... and thanks for helping make this milestone a reality. I know you've been around the channel for a long time now. VR just gives me another way to indulge these passions... a lot cheaper too :) Thanks for watching and appreciate the comment!
Mate, this is fantastic. Wow, we have a lot more in common than I would have known. Loved my drag racing some years ago, although nothing in comparison to what you have done. Man, what an epic journey. Congratulations on 5k subs, that's so awesome and well deserved. 🎉
Thanks for watching my friend, maybe we can do some "bench racing" with some of our stories someday. Keep up the great work on your channel too... really been enjoying your content.
My brother from another mother! I always knew you were cooler than most. :) There is a passion in our blood for speed; and no matter how much time passes, the sound of the V8s is something that binds all drag racers together. Thanks for sharing them Mark!
No problem, once it is in your blood you are so screwed. You can go to rehab for other substances but no cure that I know of yet for Nitro and adrenaline! Glad you enjoyed my stroll down memory lane!
Yeah, really enjoyed this backstory! Really makes me wonder.. how many of us in the sim community have such a rich and exciting history? I grew up in a dirt track family. Grandpa was a legend and uncle was chasing on his heals. My extensive adventures mostly took me elsewhere, but I did get some genuine time on the track behind the wheel.
It is such a passion, I'd imagine especially if it runs in the family! I'm a first generation so I had to break in on my own but it was so worth it. Love this stuff even to this day! Thanks for watching.
Thanks Mark for transferring that VHS video - very cool stuff! Looks like your "new" hobby is cheaper than the one you started with as a young man. It is awesome that you were able to take that passion forward into a career. (If we ever meet in person, I will tell you a story from my past about Bracket Car Racing from a different profession). P.S. - I finally got my P3 running properly in both DCS and IL2, so thanks for your moral support along the way (It appears I had a com port conflict between SRS and SimShaker software in addition to making the diode mod). My current is experience is everything I had hoped and more! Finally, great job on growing the channel!
@@VariVR Thank you so much and glad you got the system working! As for the money side... Do you know how to make a Million Dollars in Drag Racing?... ... Start with 10 Million :)
Thanks for watching! Yes it was quite a career and so many awesome memories and stories from that part of my life. I treasure them all and am thankful I was able to have them. Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for helping GYGO get to this Mile-Stone Joe! Really appreciate your support and friendship over the years! You didn't know I was this cool did you LOL :)
What was it like to be the cool kid Mark? When you said you were heavily involved in drag it raised an eyebrow. But whatever makes you happy. Thankfully it was cars. Very interesting vid. Thank you for sharing. Many questions so catch you later.
I wasn't the coolest by far but I could hold my own :) Always helps to have a cool car, chicks dig cool cars! I think "Drag Racing" must mean something different across the pond eh? Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed it my friend.
Lol. True
Those were the days my friend! Rock music fast cars And all the above. I'm happy to have survived those days.

Dude, congrats on 5k subs! Another miles stone. Always enjoyed hanging out at the track with you and B. :)
I know right... so many stories that you know about that are not appropriate for public consumption :)
I'm really grateful that the universe pushed this through my feed today. This was awesome.
I'm grateful the universe allowed us to meet! Jrock was with us when we watched Ratt from the stage... was a cool night for sure!
@@GYGOtv what a wild time. The New Years party with Pearcy. Lolol
