Additionally If you have good knowledge of wireless communication you must know while in a area with multiple wireless signal,the chances of getting overlap in signal will increase.

Any router working in range extender or repeater mode will have it's wireless speed cut In half, because it does both receiving and transmitting through the same bandwidth, and it's the same with all dual band routers. It's recommended to use in wired access point mode to get the proclaimed speeds. So this is not the flaw of this router, it is doing what it is supposed to do.

Nope I use a To link wifi router as a extender and I get the same speed as of main one
@ that would be possible when you main speed is of order < 50 Mbps. If your ISP speed is > 200 Mbps then you'll never get same speed when connected to Wireless access point.
Same problem on my tenda range extender.

Actually, its not just the problem of this Mi Router, but any router working as WiFi extender(extending WiFi range without wire). Since, the extender talks to the host router as well as connected devices on the same band, the WiFi speed drops significantly. This problem can be reduced by using Routers with MU-MIMO tech, but not eliminated. It is always recommended to connect extender to the host router via Ethernet cable to get the max potential of internet connection over the extender.
Is the static IP trick still working. I'm using jiofiber trial for now do you suggest me opting for airtel fiber?

bhai mera bsnl ka ftth laga hai bina wifi wala usme maine tp link ka mera purana modem+wifi ko as a router use kar raha tha par abhi wo tplink wala adsl+router kharab ho gaya muje naya lena hai jisme range 2nd floor tak aaye koi suggest karo cheap and best suggest karo. BSNL ka 50mbps Plan hai mera. mujhe wired input dalke wifi use karna hai.

When you make any device an access point wirelessly, the bandwidth is divided into half by dafault. So your comment about routers being just 1 feet away is technically wrong. The same device was able to provide high speed when you gave input using wire. We expect genuine reviews. God bless you.

WIFI is not a Duplex connection, so you won't be getting full speeds wirelessly. Theoretically it will half the recieving speeds.
