FWIW I had one and encountered magazine over insertion issues that a lot of other people had experienced. Canik customer service was sub par and their communications were horrible. I had to send it back for service on my dime. By the time I got it back I was over the whole Canik experience and just got rid of it. YMMV.
@@hunter1028 I've had the rival dark side but it's not the stainless steel one for about a year now. The only problem I've had and it's very recent is the slide lock spring got bent and it wouldn't always cycle. I just bent the spring back but haven't had a chance to shoot it yet to see if it fixed the problem. I might have to bend the spring more. Other than that, absolutely no problems.
Buying a canik to me. And im a videogamer for context is a lot like buying an xbox or sony vs a pc. Youre opting to never get into your gun for a comtrolled experience. Just like a comsole vs pc. But with guns. You need to be in them.
Had low recoil and great fit in the hand. A bit of a wide spread with iron sights but centered on target, not low and left. Didn't have to reach with my thumb or contort my wrist at all to send the slide forward after a reload.
Canik has locked you out of your gun and will absolutely rely on their stupid "stay out of your own gun" rules. To not have to honor a warranty. I would rather buy a glock and not be held to that.
Pretty underwhelmed. Bought the chrome s. Bought a canik gas pedal. Went to install. Attachment screw strips on me almost immediately. Canik. Wanting to act in a historically accurate tradition was, less than white, shall we say on honoring their own parts. All of them. On a 3 week old gun. Theyve even got a thing to get rid of an upset customer. Its called. You yelled. Thretening behavior. And they hang up and stop answering. Thats turkey for ya
@scoobiedoobiedoo. UA-cam has blocked my ability to reply to people. They have no representation they want in the government. We had a trade off. It's definately stripped. It doesn't sound like it at all. It is. My whole point. I used the correct hexbit and applied gentle downward pressure. Like all my other guns. I'm starting to question the quality of that screw. Buddy.
A follow up to your comment. That wasn't why. Ive talked with them since. Their screws suck. The why. They didn't back my warranty. They treat their gun like a literal video game console. They didn't give me permission to add the gas pedal myself. To stay in warranty. I would have had to have used a licensed gunsmith.
In other words. If I would have stripped a screw in a part of the gun I'm allowed to be in. They would've covered it. Spoiler alert. There are no screws in those parts.
The instructions tell you. That to stay in warranty. All you are allowed to do. Is a 5 part basic field strip for cleaning and lube. Nothing else. It's a literal video game console to them. I've never seen any gun company act like this about their guns.
I loved my canik when I first bought it as still love it to this day.
Canik's Best Gun to date
Got one a few weeks ago. Came with Canik optic. Just a freaking sweet gun.
Let us know how it handles, and if you experience any of the malfunctions mentioned in previous reviews (failure to feed, failure to eject).
@@CanikFanatik22When it was brand new, there were a few problems, but after fifty rounds and a little gun care, it runs like clockwork.
Canik won the 2020 subcompact award
The fxs is my winter indoor and the rival S the summer out door pistol ,one for close range and one for futher out.

I've been a Canik fanboy for a long time.

Imma buy one
My reset seems shorter. I bought from Classic.
I clicked the green button and ended up here... is it that hard to upload the video twice?
Super Great!!!!!

More racist and smarter men than you have tossed them from capitalism in the past. For being. Again. Less than white. In behavior.
Don't need to use names. Less than white works as well

Just like some of their firing pins are shoddy. But you can't check yours. Youve destroyed your warranty if you did.
And yes. This was a canik gas pedal. It came with instructions. And in very fine print. Said. Only a licensed gunsmith can add this part.
