Topcoats are either Polyaspartic or Urethane.
My personal phone number if you have any questions Jason, 610-972-5247.

The materials we sell are the same materials that we have been installing for over 20 years. We have very extensive knowledge of all products and almost every concrete condition imaginable.
We will share our knowledge with you so you can install as good a floor as possible.

Awesome job jason. Can’t wait to get my product in to do my garage. Watching your videos have helped my confidence in being able to do it myself
Great video, thank you!
Hey mate, awesome explanation you got there especially with helping us understand the texture urethane vs polyaspartic. I’ve been a subscriber for over a year now and have watched most of your videos (liked them too) even though you mentioned about the squeegees and rolller in various occasions I haven’t found a video explaining about them in detail. So I would really appreciate if could spend some time to put together a video on the different types of squeegee you use notched vs flat, which one for prime/base/top coat. The nap of the roller and why you prefer certain things over the other. Also edging do we need to squeegee all the way to the wall or will a small roller/paint brush will do. In a line marking video of yours I came across a wonderful explanation on how to properly put tape. A question regarding that is do you use tapes which have sharp edges or normal ones. Hope you would consider this request. Thanks wish you have a bright future with the sales of your products.
Great content, thank you. The lines, are they painted before the topcoat is applied?
After, CFS-1C Polyaspartic, black
Hi Jason have watched most of your videos would you mind answering a few questions when you say that the Polyaspartic is 10mm thick but across the screen it says 30mm which is it never looks like its going down so thick also if you were to try using a car trolley jack would it damage the coating and also turning the steering in your car.
Regards Dianne sorry if they are stupid questions.
For the record, I said 10 Mil (10 thousandths of an inch) NOT 10 mm (3/8ths of an inch). 1 mil equals 1 thousandth of an inch. Mil and millimeter are different measurements. The topcoat is 10 mils thick, each of the two coats underneath is 10 mils each also, it is a total of 30 mils. You are correct it is not going down that thick. Not a stupid question, if you didn’t know, now you do. So yes, you can roll trolley jacks over the floor and it will not damage it.
Hey there Jason, what kind of paint did you use to paint the lines and is the something you also offer?
It is the same material as the topcoat with black tint.

Would you mind sharing your thoughts on the Spartan ZTR mower?
I absolutely love it, I bought it for the suspension because of my back. NO regrets at all. I do have to say that's the first zero turn I ever owned, so I have nothing to compare it to.
@@ConcreteFloorSolutions Thanks for the feedback. I'm in the market for one myself, and had never heard of Spartan until I saw it in the background of your video. Plan to visit my local dealer soon.
How well does this stuff hold up to things being dropped on it? Heavy things, like tools and wood etc.
You never want to drop anything sharp on the floor, it can even damage bare concrete
But the answer to your question is it will hold up well
Is it possible to make the aspartic as grippy as the eurea? I am concerned about wet shoes/tires slipping.
Absolutely, our kits come with aluminum oxide texture additive which is regulated by the installer when you apply it. If you have any questions, email me directly jason@concretefloorsolutions.com
What product do you use and how can one find a firm in their area that is capable of doing the quality work that you do?
We use our own products. concretefloorsolutions.com/store/
I don't know what area you are from, so I don't know what contractors you have available.
Can you use a floor machine to deep clean the urethane floor?
Floor scrubber? Yes, just use a soft pad or brushes
How well do it hold up to welding sparks?
There is NO epoxy or polyaspartic floor designed to withstand molten metal. use a welding blanket to protect the floor when welding. Epoxy. / polyaspartic is like plastic and will melt.
@@ConcreteFloorSolutions okay thanks 😊
What did you use to paint your lines?
Black CFS - 1C Polyaspartic.
You just need to make sure you tape very well so the material does not wick underneath the tape.

What about cars that have oil undercoating and drip off onto the floor ? Will this stain it ?
No it will not
Sorry, Just to clarify, when you say 28-30mm, you meant 2.8-3mm right? Because 30mm equals to 3cm, we’re not talking that thick right?
28-30 mils, not mm
1 mil= 1 thousandth of an inch
@@ConcreteFloorSolutions 😅I see! Thanks for clarifying!❤
I don't understand why the author of the video did not use a surface roughness meter to precisely measure the amount of surface roughness of the finish of polyaspartic vs. Polyurea. In terms of chemical resistance, the material specification sheet should provide details that will be very informative versus the novice test of used motor oil only. My recommendation is the post the material specification sheets so that those who want to know more about the product have access to that information produced from the manufacturer of the product.
Here you go:
concretefloorsolutions.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/CFS-1C-POLYASPARTIC-technical-data-sheet.pdf
Most people like to see results, not read about it.
That is why I try to show how it holds up
@@ConcreteFloorSolutions it's very difficult to qualitatively discuss surface roughness. If you purchase a surface roughness meter, then you will have a comparison and be very accurate with regard to relative differences in surface roughness between polyurea and polyaspartic. One thing you might consider doing, is to bring samples of your different products over to the Materials Science Department of Lehigh University and talk to the department head regarding instrumentation and differences from an engineering standpoint on the different products that you apply. I'm sure they would be delighted to assist a small local business with technical matters.
10:24 I did not get, what is 30 Mil? is that 30mm? I do not believe this. It requires lots of material and quite expensive? Do you mean 0.3mm?
30 mil = 30 thousandths of an inch. NOT metric.
Now, I wonder -- maybe it'd be possible to epoxy the entire driveway.
You can, it would not be recommended in freezing climates, and can get slippery when it's wet. So you want to make sure you add texture.
Sorry, tire dirt streaks were still very visible.!
In the urethane, yes I agree, harder to clean. Not in the polyaspartic though.
