- A delegation of US lawmakers met the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, on Wednesday in Himachal Pradesh's Dharamshala. The meeting annoyed Beijing, which urged the United States on Tuesday to "fully recognise the anti-China and separatist nature of the Dalai clique" and refrain from "any form of contact with it".
Former US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi - in India as part of a bipartisan delegation of American lawmakers - met the Dalai Lama Wednesday and, hours later, launched a ferocious attack on China and dismissed President Xi Jinping. "His Holiness the Dalai Lama will live a long time and his legacy will live forever, but you, the President, will be gone and nobody will give you credit for anything."
"The Dalai Lama would not approve my saying this... that I am criticising the Chinese government. He would say, 'Let's pray for Nancy to rid her of negative attitudes.' But I hope he will indulge me today in saying change is on the way. As our colleagues have said, hope brings some faith and the faith of the Tibetan people, in the goodness of others, is going to make all the difference..." Ms Pelosi said.
She also said that bipartisan approval for the Resolve Tibet Act sends a message to China - that Washington is clear in its thinking on this issue. "This bill says to the Chinese government: things have changed now, get ready for that," she said to cheering Tibetans at an event this afternoon.

The fact that “Tibet was Primitive “ is not a reason to occupy. Tibet being itself is self imposed with a specific purpose. This statement is coming from lack of understanding of Tibetan religious culture.

If you listen carefully to Mr. Einar Tangen’s statement between 6 and 7 minutes of the video you will find the fact. First, he said that (His Holiness) the Dalai Lama attempted a failed coup. Then he said that the average life span of Tibetans was 41 years, 95% of the people were illiterate, lands were held by nobles and monasteries. (According to China’s narratives) Now the question is. if His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s government is responsible then Tibetan government called Gaden Phodrang is the legitimate and China is the aggressor. There never was coup only occupation of the most peaceful and peace loving country of the planet. Again if (in accordance with China’s invented Tibetan history) Tibet was under China for hundreds of years then China was torturing Tibetans for centuries as they are doing till date in a different fashion now a days. If Tibetan peoples’ land was controlled by Tibetan nobles and monasteries then who is controlling now. After China’s occupation of Tibet Tibetan people no longer own their land. Even Nomads lost their pastures. It now belongs to China’s Communist government. No private property under communism. As far as literacy is concerned. Most of the Tibetan population were monks. Even to this date. They get highest degree of knowledge from Nalanda tradition of Buddhism translated to Tibet’s own script which today is respected worldwide. And China is saying 95 % of Tibetan are illiterate. During those times and earlier China was struggling starvation and famine. Majority of the population were poor and can’t afford education. Tibet never heard of famine before China’s aggression. Again another clarification, if monasteries owned the land then it is indirectly owned by people because 99% of monks comes from commoners. After all what could be the percentage of nobles in a country. Yes Tibet do had a sort of aristocratic system of government but The Dalai Lama’s post is not hereditary. So what, if Tibet had aristocratic system? It was the most common forms of government in medieval Europe. Eg. in France, England, Russia and many more in history but nobody came from outside to these countries saying we will liberate you. The people of that country themselves came up and changed the government. China came with People’s Liberation Army into a country where people practices compassion and kindness. Mr. Tangen’s verbal expressions itself expresses the difference of Tibetan and Chinese. So China leave Tibet please if you have human face and shame on that face.
Come to think of it, how can the CCP even claim to have legitimately formed the government of China when power was seized by Mao Zedong without even having proper elections within China to let the citizens decide for themselves for the type of government they wanted.

Einar Tangen said he is USA citizen but his speech is PRC propaganda and parroting for PRC. My grandfather lived till 90 in Tibet before PRC invaded and he was lay man and lived freely. Why is he twisting Dalai Lama speech when he said everyone should live freely and not under authoritarian regimes. Tibet is not part of PRC.

I am starting to understand that since the Chinese president xi is more experienced as a leader of the nation than many other heads of the states of the world hence xi is better at managing the system. However, the most developed countries mainly the US and Europe are against Xi's political agenda and performance which is very important for China to ensure the disengagement of any foreign power intervention in Chinese territories including Tibet.
People from other parts of the world don't understand anything about Tibetan culture and tradition and how the system needs political control over the state and its people which China has been precisely fulfilling the gap. India and the US are just trying harder to provoke China in this situation displaying a friendly image.

Meeting the Dalai Lama..makes him a legitimate figure..a Dalai Lama is the ruler of Tibet as per the generational traditions of Tibet..the Dalai Lama living in India is actually the ruler of Tibet in exile due to the Chinese annexation of Tibet..when the exiled leader is net by the US delegation..it signifies that the Chinese take over of Tibet is illegitimate and illegal..the actual ruler is the Dalai Lama....once the US government recognises the Dalai Lama Tibet then no longer is a legitimate part of China..and from that the Chinese claim over Arunachal Pradesh a state of India.. becomes null and void..as the Chinese claim over it was based on Arunachal Pradesh being a part of Tibet..which the Chinese invaded and took over..since that is now illegitimate..
