I have fibro as well. Don't have RA but lower back degeneration. Been stuck in bed no energy for last couple years. Just watching and learning and saving up my junk lol. Finally this month I am able to get up and do it. So excited!! Truly my passion. Then discovered your videos at the right time 😁 you've taught me so much! Thanks Kelly
I love that you're not afraid to make mistakes. Some tutorials are a bit intimidating because they never mess up, and I know I'm going to. Thx for another great video!
It kills me to waste paint and I always tell people to have a piece of paper next to them. Even an old magazine or newspaper and soak it up to use on another project. Thank u for watching and commenting!!
i have had such a good time with you on this video. it was like sitting with a friend and learning what can be used to make stamps and stencils ... I'm a late beginner and have so many things running around in my head as to what I can use. Thank you so much.
Thanks for the great ideas for fun foam. I noticed that your black staz on stamp pad has that little plastic cover that comes with their stamps. People always throw them away. WRONG... So every time I open my stamp pad that plastic cover doesn't fall out I've placed a piece of double sided sticky foam to the inside lid (1/4 inch thick) and place the plastic cover back on the pad, then the lid to the pad. Push down to make it stuck well. And like magic that plastic cover will always go back where it belongs with out any effort from you. Hope my explanation of what to do wasn't too confusing. Well thanks again for your tips, have a good one.
Kelly, you're such a trip, I love it that you're goofy, you're real and you, like the rest of us, make mistakes. Ignore the mean people who snark at you, when they make their mistake, they'll have to figure out a fix on their own. :-) BTW, I also have fibro and my hands are one of my 'zone's' of pain, I find that Light Stim really helps and you just have to hold it in your hand.
Thank you Kelly for this idea!!!! I have a bunch of foam I can use to make stamps... I would have never thought to write on the foam to make an impression. Now I can do backgrounds quickly on my art, yey!! :D
I've done that, but my experience is that it works better if it's mounted onto something, acrylic, wood... I've also used styrofoam plates and trays, here we get ham and cheese on them so people end up with tons, think it's a cool way to repurpose instead of throwing more garbage. Thanks for the tips!
You can request those meat trays from the butcher at your store and they will give you some for free . This was a wonderful video thanks for sharing this video with me
went out and got some of the foam...... it cool i just have to figure out all the things i want to draw on the foam,,,,i seem yo smear a lot not sure what i doing wrong
I'd imagine by now you've found it, but for anyone who doesn't know yet- the pharmacy section in Walmart. More specifically, the first aid aisle, where you can also find rubbing alcohol, etc..
Making a brick shape impression isn't copyright infringement. Taking a stamp and copying it exactly and claiming it as your own, is. If you paint an animal on your wall, are you in violation of some law because a caveman got there before you? You don't need to worry about making art up as you go along as long as you are not copying someone's exact work and saying YOU came up with the idea. However, if you saw someone's creation and you you do the same but in, "your way", it's always the right thing to do to say you were inspired by the work of ABC etc. :)

Go over to the frugal crafter for she tells how to refill stamp pads....all kinds.
yes i am on the hunt for glycerin!
I'd imagine by now you've found it, but for anyone who doesn't know yet- the pharmacy section in Walmart. More specifically, the first aid aisle, where you can also find rubbing alcohol, etc..
My Walmart did not have glycerin, but I ordered it on line and had it shipped to my store.
I love your work....but....are you at all concerned about copyright infringement? Copying stamps, maybe not so cool.
what am i copying? u use these to make cards and die cuts all the same--nope not worried but ty for the concern
The only way it's infringement is if you try to claim the design as being your own, and/or use them to make a profit.
