    Gil was walking bucket. A sharpshooter fr used to get hot and would go on a tear from deep. Was quick, could get by most defenders, and finish with contact at the rim or eurostep his way through. And he was great in the pick n roll, would pick teams apart by running that over and over. As a LeBron fan, Agent 0 had me nervous in their natchup in the 2006 playoffs.

    We need 100% accountability, I’ve made plenty of mistakes like we all have and in hindsight, I can honestly say that if people would have made excuses for me and pacified the issue and my actions I would have gotten better. The only way we get better is 100% accountability and honesty from the people around us about our actions.

      @teddyhart2913 Рік тому +9

      @Jameson Edwards II Cavs had one of the top 3 best players in the league., and you didnt listen..he was talking purely at AGE 25. The way we look at Curry and all hes done was not the case when he was 25. Curry is arguably top 10 player all time now. At 25 he was just a young all star making his way. No chips yet, no nothing

    • @teddyhart2913
      @teddyhart2913 Рік тому +18

      So in 2013 (when steph turned 25) hed yet to even make his 1st all-star game. It wasnt until the 2014 all star game when he made his debut averaging 24, 9, &4.
      Gilbert Arenas by the same age (2007) had already been a 3 time all star and 3 time all nba averaging 28, 6 and 4 that year.
      So by Gils example, if you cut both careers at 25, Steph isnt fucking with him and hes right. He also said if you are talking full career than hes nowhere near Steph. He was fair on both sides

    That ending was the one of the best endings in podcast history! Great closing! I met Mike Bibby and saw Gil from a far many years ago. Never thought Gil would be in the podcast space. Gil has the mastermind for basketball.

    When I think of Gil, I remember how athletic and above the rim he played. His game was reliant on that, and once the knees were bad, it wasn't the same. It's different for a catch and shoot or post up guy. When Gil was at his healthiest. Sheesh.

      He was a shooter a sharpshooter deep 3s , mid range pull ups and slashing. He wasn't an above the rim player. His scoring reminded me of a right handed harden .
