- This is the Volvo V60 Cross Country. I'm testing the V60 B5 model which is a mild hybrid. The Cross Country model sits a little higher than the traditional V60 and can offer a greater deal of flexibility for those driving off-road and it just looks a little bit cooler! But how does the V60 CC rang overall? Come with me to find out!

These new Volvos are underestimated , they really are better that a lot of Mercedes and BMWs cars. Elegant , refined, and great build quality.

My neighbour has one and he hates it. allready 4 times on tow truck due to all kind of electronic issues. Its no volvo quality anymore but Chinese low budget stuff.

I currently drive a V90 cross country and it is very difficult to fault. Anna is quite right to call out the optimistic fuel consumption claims though. The only thing I can add to this excellent review is that the tailgate height on the cross country models is perfect for sitting on to put your hiking boots on!

It was a good video Anna. Solid SUV cars are the most sold in Sweden. My brother-in-law just has a V60 Cross Country and he and my sister are very happy with their Cross Country. The brother-in-law has a 2020 model year and my sister has 2018. These work very well in the winters when we get a lot of snow and the roads do not always have time to be plowed when they go to work 05 in the morning. Then these go really well along the forest roads that are not always playable.
Thank you Ingvar, it proved to be very very practical with 40 cm of snow we've gotten recently. It just kept on going, plus, it's also a very elegant machine!
Always fancied a v50 but these newer models just look sooo classy and they sit on the road lovely. Great second hand car!👍

Brilliant car, it drives much better than the XC60 SUV. It's tough to choose between this and the V90 Cross Country, I prefer the latter as more luggage space.
Perfect alternative to SUV. And it's a Volvo 😉
Unfortunately, “but it’s a Volvo” is no longer a positive reason to own one since their reliability reputation has fallen to Land Rover/Range Rover levels. It has bad a sad decline to what was once a stout & dependable brand.

Very nice review Anna. Yeah that Volvo V60 Cross Country is a bit of me. I'm weird as I said before but I'm a bit of a sucker for estate cars and I do like cross over like Cross Country, Allroad type cars. I like the idea that if I needed to A to B whatever the weather is, ie, work and back. Ouch, that quite bad for MPG. Poland looks lovely in snow from what you film. Great video. Great review! Could you please tell me the exterior paint color? It’s beautiful! I live in a hot climate so I always buy white cars w/bone or the lightest interiors offered. This light blue/gray is really incredible, could be a great option !

But a 14 hp electric assist motor? Are they trying to power a snow thrower option? If they did the hybrid right, they could have great mileage.
I think it is a selling feature more than anything. You are correct, barely adds to the HP output.

Nice video! I'm a fan of these 4x4 estates for my farming family. Mrs H prefers them to the Disco. Looking for a replacement for my Outback. Volvo always has a very strong interior and a nice enough car, but I think it would be well suited to electric drive - it's economy is terrible and lets face it, it's no performance estate (cp BMW 340/AMG C). Just gonna have to wait for an E 4x4 estate. And an E Landy...

The current XC60 is a poor replacement for the original design, in my opinion. The V60 cc is the natural successor to that original 2009 XC60 design, I think, and is what I will be looking for to replace my R Design Lux Nav AWD in 2021, just a shame there's no 5 pot 20 valve 🙁. That gorgeous coat looks lovely on you poppet,😉.

These are very attractive cars in many ways...but many Volvos are made in China now which is something to consider. The price on the forecourt is often very good indeed...a car to cover a lot of miles and enjoy more than you might expect...and vastly more interesting than a BMW 3 series Touring!!🙂🙂🙂

its actualy exectly what it shut not be , a very very gud design that inspire power and with gud roud ability and dedicated cross country construction for of roud .. but for this size and weight the engine is weak and probably can't be reliable because you will have to carry a bulky body that I don't think is light, and the price is a bit high for a car that should be practical and powerful and not super luxurious ... they sell luxury not the utility for which the car was invented or would be necessary, every year new technological improvements are brought to manipulate people to buy the latest generation latest fashion .... this is real pollution ... energy consumption for continuous production of new models of worse quality ... consumption for melting last week's cars to produce new over and over faster and faster so manufacturers get rich

However, the Chinese own more than half of the US - wouldn’t call the US China though.... Japanese cars are often produced in Europe, German cars abroad - this one is engineered in Sweden and crafted in Sweden, so what.
