My Great Granddad was Chairman at this occasion - he was my father's, mum's dad John Shaw Rose J.P I've commented on this as the Final was here at Crystal Palace on 20th April 1912 - 108 years ago today...The replay was at Sheffield Utd. - Bramall Lane on 24th April 1912 - we all know that Barnsley went on to win 1-0. Proud moment for my family, Great Granddad and Grandma.
Muito obrigado. o primeiro jogo foi um empate 0-0 sem prorrogação. O segundo jogo foi o replay 4 dias depois e Barnsley marcou o gol da vitória aos 118 minutos.
Well done Barnsley from a lifelong Baggie...a war of attrition...My Grandad was born in 1912,the year the Titanic sunk and the Baggies lost the Cup Final. He always used to tell me that's why he supported the Wolves.. but never told me why he was in the Fleet Air Arm in WW2🤣
