Reaction to bad batch season 3
Oh you guys know we’d be wanting to watch what’s next with y’all now 😭😭
Bruh somebody hug Rana 😂😭😭
Chris... The Mandalorian S02, Episode 5. Ahsoka is out there... The Mandalorian S01 starts 5 years after RotJ.
Jedi Survivor... There's a whole hidden planet set up to hide from the Empire...
You know this maaaaan!
"we didn't see him die" my dude he was literally engulfed in flames.
They'll learn soon enough.
@@mimic1984 they already know.
@@agresticumbra True.
To be fair, to be absolutely fair, this is the same franchise with "somehow Palpatine returned"
@@pablolacalle6098that was such a whiplash for me 😂😂😂I actually had not seen any trailers or anything (sequels had disappointed me at that point in time) so when I heard “somehow Palpatine returned” I literally cried. Like. HUH💀💀💀YOUVE GOT TO BE KIDDING 😭😭😭lol
Micky: They didn't kill Kanan. This is a kids show.
Bro, you JUST watched Hera get tortured, before Kanan offed 2 stormtroopers.
Exactly! Like I know some people complain that Rebels tries to be too "child friendly" at times because of the goofy tone but there's still a lot of dark stuff in this show.
@@abthedragon4921 It does get pretty child-friendly at times. But the dark moments are nice. Not to the same level as CW tho.
Rebels has been pretty kid-friendly. Especially compared to the Clone Wars.
Yeah and she was pregnant.
We also saw the Grand Inquisitor behead two imperial officers in season 1 as well.
I hate that Mickey immediately goes like "nah, nah he's good." Kanan literally sacrificed himself for his family and he's trying to be smart about it. He lost me when he called Thrawn "blueface" because "his name isn't worth remembering". WHAT WERE YOU WATCHING ALL THIS TIME?
Mickey loves to take things out of context
It's the constant "this wouldn't happen in real life" statements he's always making! Like dude we know! In a show about sensitive robots, the force, space jumps, aliens and other things does he really think that people get mad when something in a fantasy world doesn't match the real world?
He kinda ruined the emotional moment, bro yeah he’s absolutely dead
Mickey's too focused on this being a kid's show. Feels like he's not taking the show seriously because of it
He's on that take of its animated so it must be for kids. They same way so called mature adults used to call comic books funny books or comic conventions nerd fairs or just for kids
He's been cool with this, ever seen the reactions to the prequels? They had there mind made up before watching.
Kanans death is arguably the most emotional in the entire series the force giving him his sight back for his sacrifice so he can see the woman he loves one last time is just so beautiful
The last thing he said to Hera before he went and was blinded on Malicore was “we’ll see each other again.” In the end, he was right.
❤
Too bad Micky is there to be a buzzkill
Mickey is the guy who wants to predict everything too much, and wont shut up about it. The death would have had a bigger impact if he wasn't foreshadowing it the whole time. If you think someone will die, then why not keep it to yourself so others can just watch without looking for it to happen.
Mickey’s an important part of this channel, but he REALLY needs to take a step back from the Star Wars reactions, so many times he’s actively ruined the mood of scenes just when the others were getting engrossed. I’m not hating on his style of reacting, it works super well for stuff like Fallout, but it’s clear he doesn’t really vibe with Lucasfilm storytelling.
I knew Mickey was gonna ruin the mood, dude don't give af about the show he just try to be funny and no one's laughing
She was the last thing he saw. Then that haunting music. Man.
Mickey's in the thumbnail? No thanks on watching this then. I have the feeling hes going to make stupid jokes all throughout this especially when the emotional moments happens. No thanks
Well you were right lol
You were right. Mickey is too emotionally stunted to take shit seriously.
Micky...killing the vibe for one of the best pieces of Star Wars content ever
Then watch it on your own time kid and don't use this as re-watching it😂

What happened to Micky, man? He used to be one of the sharper ones in the group back then. The way he is now makes even Suraj look smarter and funnier.
Imagine saying Thrawn, THEE grand admiral Thrawn’s name isn’t worth remembering
Thrawn has been a famous character from the Heir to the Empire books. How is he not worth remembering
@@user-pi1vx4ee8mask Mickey, he's the one who said it and has said before he isn't smart at all and is stupid
Says the guy with little to no knowledge on the topic… and like many others… Our legacies are our deeds. Even a sci-fi fantasy intellectual character such as Thrawn has done much more to be well recognized & respected by many than you yourself could ever hope to achieve.
Ever heard Pupienus Maximus? A lowly blacksmith became the Emperor of the Roman Empire. His was name pronounced “Poopy Anus”. Guess what, he’s a military expert too & won many victories more than you. Sure, laugh at people’s stupid names then when they have such power, oh I bet you won’t even laugh anymore with such disrespect… Just cuz they have dumb names doesn’t mean they’re not capable of being successful & holding such power. Looking down at others is what you’re good at right?
How bout Anurag Dikshit? Did you know he was the youngest billionaires in history! He brought home more than $500 million every year! Imagine how embarrassing for you if you had a classmate or colleague or a friend with a name like that made more $$$ you ever could. You won’t be laughing at him knowing he could get you almost anything you want for a long time.
The amazing part about Kanan getting his vision back is when he, Ezra and Ahsoka went to Malachor he promised Hera they would see each other again and they didn’t since Kanan was blinded the force basically granted Kanan his sight back to fulfill that promise he made before he died
Because of this fact it hurts even more
Kanan could've healed his eyes at any time with the Force. He just chose not to because seeing with the Force was so much easier, but he wanted to see Hera one last time before the Force called him home.
Oh we're crying today? okay 😭😭
The phrase, "kid's show," tells me more about the viewer than some inherent nature of the show. If you watch it as an adult I think you get a lot more out of it. Also, the technical term for, "predictable kid's show," is, "foreshadowing." That being said, points to Mickey for, "Oh, hi Mart!" It's no, "Maul cops," but it's up there.
100%. If a show is a kids show, that simply means kids are the target audience. It's a term that has a loose relationship with things like how dark the content is (with shows like 'The Clone Wars' being prime example of that) and no relationship whatsoever with the objective quality of the show.
If it's a really good kids show, adults will gladly watch it. To view a kids show as an inherently lesser piece of media just for being a kids show ironically demonstrates immaturity.
Props to Chris for remembering who Krennic was
what micky yappin abt ☠️😭
I hate Mickey on these type of episode lol.
I was praying to god micky wouldn’t make a dumb joke during Kanans death lol
Like “we didn’t SEE a body” or “LOOK out Kanan” lol
NO MORE MICKY !!!!!!!!!!
No matter how many times I watch that ending it doesn't get easier
Chris, the Ahsoka show takes place after the Original Trilogy. The entire Mandoverse takes place after the Original Trilogy
I don’t even think he remembers Ahsoka in the mandalorian or the BoBF.
This is why BW won.
@@boostorange641 That's a good thing.
“Thrawn would do it”
Thrawn would if it didn’t involve *that* fuel. That fuel is the lynchpin of his TIE Defender Program. Without that fuel, he can’t use those fighters and everything he’s been working towards was for nothing. Pryce’s order killed one Jedi, but also sabotaged Thrawn in the process
exactly Thrawn is almost always sabotaged by underlings that think they know better
To be fair though, if Governor Pryce had decided not to blow up the fuel pod in an attempt to get rid of all the rebels, she would have been in big trouble anyway for allowing Syndulla and all of the remaining rebels to escape. Though it once again put a dent in the Emperor's overarching plans, I don't blame Pryce for attempting to salvage the situation by getting at least some victory by killing the rebels. That's better than nothing, and would land her a marginally less severe punishment than losing them all would've.
@@gizmo12055 agree if thrawn have better underlings that are smart and competent then thrawn would be unstoppable.
These incompetent officers are so dumb I have a feeling that palpatine fear his military power so he might send thrawn incompetent officers so he won't be unstoppable
Still gets me every time.. what an absolute boss/devastating way for Kanan to go out. RIP Caleb Dume, Jedi Knight
Does Mickey even like Star Wars?
No it's not like he's been watching all of it from the beginning💀
He said that he only likes the memes from the Prequel trilogy and not the fight scenes themselves
so happy yall finally reached Jedi Night, only thing taking me out of it was Mickey's dud jokes every 2 mins
6:40 "his name isn't worth remembering." Really, mickey, one of the most iconic starwars characters of all time and you act like hes a no body? God he makes these unwatchable.
I know mickey is the one out of all of them i cant stand when they watch star wars
Yeah, that comment was just really disingenuous
Thrawn has been memorable since 30 years ago when he was introduced in Heir to the Empire books
Calling him one of the _most iconic_ is a stretch.
Mickey has only watched Rebels, and so far Thrawn has been a shit villain in the new shows. So he isn't wrong, from his point of view.
I always loved how Thrawn is going, "Skerris, lay off Syndulla she'll make short work of you. Back off and we'll take her down with the ship batteries"
And he pushed is luck and got pwned. Thrawn's just standing there like, "I told you, dude. I fucking warned you bro"
in reality any pilot in a Defender Elite would neg anybody in a X-Wing, even Luke or Hera, its just that plot armour had to come
@@OfficialDoggyYT agree without plot armor they would lose and die
Always wish we can trade Mickey for Serge. Never seen one reaction where Mickey even tried to suspend his disbelief
I knew Mickey would be making dumb jokes throughout.
"His name is not worth remembering" (referring to Thrawn)
That was the worst of it all IMO
yeah its annoying he takes genuinely good moments and ruins them with either his dumb jokes or his pompous attitude, he's convinced he know star wars when in reality he really know as little as possible or misunderstands scenes completely, you can see him almost burst wanting to says something while everyone else is taking in Kanan's death like dude let the moment breath
I was literally just thinking this..
It’s so predictable
yep
I hope they don’t have Mickey on the couch for the Ahsoka reactions. I like him but his constant jokes during serious moments in Star Wars ruins the vibe for the whole couch imo.

*Dave Filoni on Kanan’s eyes regaining their color. Rebels Recon:* “When I was drawing it I could just see his eyes and I was like that’s a moment where he can see her. And I thought in this moment because he’s in this point where he’s just kind of energy, where he’s about to die, when he’s more one with everything he’s ever been, you’d have this clarity where things like physical sight just doesn’t matter.“
*Filoni at SW Celebration:* “He is, in this one instance, not so much a part of the material world as immaterial. He’s almost in that world between that I like so much. And I thought it’s this one instance, again the reality of it or not, it’s what you believe, and what you feel. And I think for Hera their connection, that she can see that and she can see him and so...what does that mean? Do you need it to be about your eyes seeing somebody or not? I don’t know. But that was the way to express in that moment, and I thought it was great.”
*Director of cinematography Joel Aron on what happened:* “Clarity. It wasn’t that they were seeing each other, it’s just that everything connected. For how I perceive that moment is that everything’s okay.”
Mickey being dumb as usual
Maybe it’s just me but I wish he wasn’t in these reactions lol

Maybe you guys brought my expectations down but I was actually pleasantly surprised when I skipped right to the end, about when the eyes color...very satisfying silence. Probably cracking jokes throughout other scenes and right before the moment I skipped to? Gonna watch fully later. I feel for you guys though for sure. I have my own experiences along those lines on this channel.
To answer Spidey's question, that music is Kanan's theme (when they're building the gliders and Kanan's going through his ritual).
Is Mickey taking this seriously?
Is it Mickey's role to be "That Guy"?
Yeesh.
The difference between this explosion, and the one in the Mandalorian... Is Kanan was standing ON the thing that was exploding, which in itself, was explosive. He wasn't standing on a ground that was shot with something explosive - he was standing on a highly explosive substance which was exploding. Even if he held back the fire in front of him and around him, there was no way he was holding the entire fuel pod together permanently.
Guys mando is after episode 6 and ahsoka is in mando 😂 like seriously?
This is a top moment in the Star Wars canon for me.
I remember knowing what was happening the second he cut his hair. And the Kiner score accompanying? Tears every time.
Been waiting for this one since yall started this series, welcome to the other side.
Congrats Mickey you saw it coming cool stop ruining the moment
I wish Mickey would just be a little quieter during Star Wars reactions. He just be yapping
Watch it yourself then kid😂 quit using this as a way rewatch it. It's literally called a reaction
Also Mickey and Rana both immediately guessed the wolf thing with Kanan
Ugh Mickey getting more insufferable
Is it just me or do you get the vibe that he’s one of those dudes who thinks he’s “so funny” lol
@@kalebdiaz1671 I don't think it's a vibe, it's pretty obvious he thinks that
@@kalebdiaz1671 To me it seems like he has very little knowledge and interest in Star Wars, so he can't really contribute to the discussion of the episodes, so he attempts to be funny instead.
In my opinion, the others should just have him kicked out of the channel. I don’t understand how they’re able to handle a guy like him. I know I wouldn’t be able to handle a guy as insufferable as Mickey of all people.

Remembering Kanan literally said to Hera “I wish I could see you.” I love how his sight came back and the last thing he sees is Hera. :’)
Always a treat to watch people react to Jedi Night. The feels.
0:23 I love that Rana just accidentally namedropped my favorite Star Wars game, Rebel Assault 2
The girls: Kanan's dead.
The boys: Maybe he's alive.
Such a beautiful emotional episode, gets me every time 😢
Kanan kept his promise to Hera from the season 2 finale just before he died.
Eric and Mickey sit next to each other when Blind Wave comes over for the Rebels finale
I rather Micky just not be in the finale at all, he clearly doesn't care.
@@spaceshiplewis well it’s too late now, they probably filmed it months ago I’d have to assume
Legendary day! Kanan it has been over 6 years and you are still remembered and missed

Caleb Dume went out like a jedi, in selfless defence of others. Also giving Hera the Kalikori and needing to tell her something is hint that he knew what happens later.
25:27 Jesus Mickey not now! 😂
Wow we’re almost done but we still got so much left lol
That soundtrack in the end hits so damn hard. Tear up every time in the end of this episode. Such a beautiful but tragic scene.
Kevin Kiner killing it as usual !!!
R.I.P Kanan/Caleb Dume were getting so close to my favourite episode now. Awesome reaction guys😊
Ah cool double drop, thought I'd have to wait a week before seeing them cry their hearts out.

May the Force be with you, Kanan Jarrus...Caleb Dume. 💙 💜
“I’ll see you again.” 😭😭😭😭
24:48 - In that moment Kannan finally learned to "Let go". His training now complete.
Also, Kannans eyes were blue, when he got his sight back his eyes were matching Hera's.
New meaning to “cool guys don’t look at explosions”
God I can't believe we're this far and still have so much left. I can't wait for the journey to end and enjoy it with you all.
Journey not even over, We just found Ezra in Ahsoka
I cant even think about this episode without crying. The fact that his vision came back and he kept his promise from season 2 that he would see her again :(
Mickey really couldn’t be more wrong, Kanan is absolutely dead. The last one he saw was Hera.
Yes I was hopeing they drop these two episodes together. A happy day indeed.
There is no death… there is only the Force.
Don’t know if you guys saw, but Rukh is voiced by Star Wars veteran Warwick Davis
Mart became kinda cool since his Iron Squadron days
Kanan’s death gets me every time. Especially Hera’s silent No! that’s replaced with a wail of sorrow in the music 😭
Is this show that aired on Disney XD technically a kid’s show? Yes, I would say so
God, Kanaan's death never gets any easier to watch. Between the hauntingly beautiful music and the fact that Kanaan's eyesight comes back just in time so that the love if hus life is the kast thing he sees... Chills man!
I always thought Pat was my least favorite of the Normies. Mickey is making a great case though.
Mikey with the dumbest takes
Mickey again ruining moments😂😂, at the end he said he does think he's dead, so there was literally no point in saying we didn't see him die unless it was for a laugh that missed and saying thrawns name isnt worth remembering is crazy. He really thinks hes just another imperial trooper
You're not wrong about Ahaoka being out of the picture during the OT, but not why you think.
As for Kanan, that wasn't just an "explosion" engulfing him. The giant tank full of fuel he was standing on detonated taking out the entire fuel depot, and they made the explosion so big that it could leave no doubt. Kanan made the ultimate badass sacrifice play, and it was tragic and awesome and heartbreaking. As I think Marketa said, they twisted the knife three or four times, especially at the end when we see it happen through Hera's point of view. Remember at the end of S2 before they went to Malachor, he did say to her "we'll see each other again" before returning blinded. And your group reaction captures exactly how I felt the first time I watched it. Stunned, sad, and speechless. I choke up every time I watch the episode or a reaction to it.
F’s in the comments for one of the realest Jedi
Also, first appearance of X-Wings in the series was significant. Shows what time we’re in
yeah, tho I didnt really like this space battle, too TOO much plot armor, a Defender Elite piloted by anyone would neg anybody in a X-Wing, even Hera or Luke.
These two episodes are what made Rebels get added to many peoples list of best Star Wars media of all time. Kanan's death was one of the hardest hitting and most impactful of all of SW, really hope he comes as a force ghost or in another form in the next season of Ahsoka to Ezra, would be an amazing thing for all the Rebels fans
I remember when the normies finished clone wars and then they started rebels. I couldn't wait for them to get to this point of the show and love these characters.
Waited a year to get here and we did and just to have it ruined by mickey... "Oh someone's def gonna die" repeatedly and "blue face who's character isn't worth remembering" which I think most of us felt was a slap in the face to one of the greatest villains in SW.
Felt like everyone else was kinda of in the moment soaking in the heartbreak they all witnessed while he's just smiling saying "we didn't see a him die" 🤦♂️and then says a few mins later it's kids show. that's just terrible
That blue ring Spidey was talking about, the praxis ring, which he theorized could be the force saving Kanan, is an effect we've seen in Star Wars before. It was used when both Death Stars were destroyed or when the control ship in The Phantom Menace explodes. So it does have meaning and that meaning is death.
Guys, Kanan is clearly hiding under the dumpster.
Mickey destroyed it sooo much 😢
Okay my heart is ready
I remember when this first came out. "Rebel Assault" was the mid-season finale, and then "Jedi Night" and "Dume" aired back-to-back as the mid-season premiere after a three-month hiatus. So everyone suspected for three months that Kanan's death was coming, and yet no one was prepared for it when it did! Now, every time I hear the sound of an AT-AT walking, it feels like a gut punch!
I really liked that they aired "Dume" immediately after "Jedi Knight", because it allowed the audience to process their emotions alongside the characters and left us on a positive note.
If you haven't already, I recommend that you watch "Wolves and a Door" and "A World Between Worlds" back-to-back.
I’ve waited for two seasons for you guys to get to this point. It’s sooooo heartbreaking, beautifully honorable and masterfully made. In my top 10 memorable moments in Star Wars 😢
i mean the Galaxy is a big place Ahsoka could be doing things while other things are going on its just the "camera" wasnt on her at the moment, she didnt have to be directly involved in the main Plot to have made a difference, I think alot of these series and films like Rogue One highlight that.
Yeah, that's how I feel about the whole "where were they during [insert time in the canon here]" question that gets thrown around a lot. Like, ignoring the fact that focusing on the same characters over and over would make the galaxy feel a lot smaller in scale; like you said, the camera doesn't have to be on a character for them to be doing something important. For example, Mon Mothma, the leader of the Rebel Alliance, didn't show up until Return of the Jedi and pretty much no one bat an eye.
I knew that a two episode reaction would happen 🙂↔️🙂↔️🙂↔️ R.I.P. Kanan Jarrus, Caleb Dume, Jedi Knight.
He went out the same way Jean Grey did in X-Men 2 😢😢😢😢
I'm confused...didn't they watch Mandalorian? They even talked about it here. So they must know that Ahsoka is alive after the events of the OT. She was literally in the Mandalorian. When exactly do they think that show occurred?
They don't remember anything 😅
Before Kanan, Ezra and Ahsoka left for Malachor Kanan promises to Hera "we'll see each other again" and then get gets blinded, but he didn't lie. They did see each other again, she was the last thing he saw
Not me sobbing watching this again with y’all. 😢
The moment this episode aired I was like holy hell, this show is going dark... Any it only gets better as it concludes, man given the time Filoni can create amazing stories
*Kanan back on Malichor* : We'll see each other again.
*Kanan seconds before his death* : [looks back at Hera]
I've been waiting for the reaction to this part of the show for so long!
Kanan had been a part of this story since the very beginning, so seeing his story come to an end here was... shocking to be sure! I especially love how his vision returns to him right before his death, so that he can see the woman he loves and the boy he trained one last time.
i've been waiting for this reaction for so long :')
I hope the "all range mode" was a Star Fox reference or I might feel like a fool
24:14 each of their reactions one by one as it goes was EXACTLY what i was thinking and saying when this episode first came out
I remember watching this a few years ago, that death grinded my gears
