As a student dietitian can I just say thank you for teaching Foxy that it's ok to eat 'sometimes' foods and not calling them 'bad' foods! You're doing an amazing job at teaching him that eating is not only about being healthy but also for balance, enjoyment and bringing people together!
right?? I'm a dietitian student as well, and it makes me feel so good that Foxy is being raised with a good relationship with food!
Considering how pervasive crunchy wellness is on Instagram right now I'm also glad this is being brought up! The amount of shaming that the wellness industry does is insane.
As childcare educator I can say that youd be happy to know that most childcares also teach about "everyday foods" and "sometimes foods". Its such a great way of explaining this to children. I think the next generation will see food and a balanced diet in a different light (hopefully!).

It truly amazes me how much Fox has grown! I still remember the days when Sezzy was on her own and lived at her parents. Then we met Kurt and saw how much he made her whole. Then Fox came along and the happiness just grew. Now there's Malakai and I'm just in awe. This family has been a genuine pleasure to follow throughout the years. Thank you Sezzy. My kids do as well they are 3 and 4…. But have use them around us only!
You can start from 2 year to teach them how tu use knife and fork, plastic ones, and paper scissors . And buy the age of 3 ,4 they will know what to do. Kids are more aware that adults. Never underestimate a child abilities just because of fear. Is better to teach them safely then telling them they can't do it. Because evolution says they will hide and do it anyway and maybe there they can hurt themselves not knowing exactly what to do. Cheers
