labor and delivery nurse here! totally normal for your second baby. the first baby is always the hardest; your body has never done that before! with the second baby your body remembers and is ready to go! your cervix will most likely dilate much quicker and you wont push for long. your sister is smart and totally right. you produce oxytocin which makes you feel contractions and ultimately dilates your cervix when its ready, which is why the second baby goes much more quickly! and it produces milk :) all normal stuff we love to see!
So true. With my 2nd baby I was 4cm dilated at my 38 week check and had no idea. Just thought I had been having Braxton hicks from about 32 weeks.
Can we all just agree that Sarah is such a great and amazing mom and sometimes she puts alot of pressure on herself but she keeps going...everything is going to be just fine we pray for a healthy and easy pregnancy for the rest of the pregnancy and healthy baby boy!! We love you!

In the US, it’s technically called “curb and gutter” when it’s designed. The curb is the elevated part and the gutter is the part where water runs along the road into a stormwater inlet. The Australian lingo isn’t too off base!

I only have one baby. She’s just turned one but I was leaking colostrum EVERY DAY from 21 weeks 😩 I got told it was totally normal and I went on to have such a good supply 😁 can’t wait for your little boy to be born!! 😍

This makes me feel slightly better, I’ve been leaking since 15 weeks and I’m only 24 weeks atm and idk anyone else who has experience leaking that early.

Girlyyy the way you go on and on and on about this baby coming early the more it sounds like wishful thinking…. Or you actually conceived earlier than what your saying and that’s the actual due date?
I believe moms can actually feel if they’re having their babies early. Thats what happened with me. People kept telling me I’m probably gonna go past my due date since its my first but I kept on saying that I feel like I’ll give birth earlier and I did give birth roughly 2 weeks ahead of my due date.
The love surrounding Fox is so sweet. She is an amazing mother and I love how organized her home is its also really cute.

This is my first pregnancy and my chest started leaking at 19weeks! According to google and my doctor its normal haha. Im 27 weeks now, love following along with your pregnancy!
Yup! Mine started at 22 weeks (just the other day) and I was very confused until my mom told me it was normal lol

But UGH I just want to finally get her room squared away so that when that time does come for her to be in her own room, it’ll be ready to go!! I would say that is normal for you to be leaking! First time mum, i am due March also, started leaking at 29 weeks!
I’m 32 weeks pregnant, we aren’t too far off each other. But I’ll be having a scheduled C section at 39 weeks so we’ll prob have our babies around same time!
One thought on the vacuum seal bags. Try putting them in the box before you take the air out.
Please get an ultrasound if you haven't had one recently. I had false labour for 4 weeks leading up to an emergency c section because my son's cord was wrapped tightly around his neck. Better to know ahead of time if something is causing the contractions!
I think it's perfectly normal for your body to start producing milk and leaking during the second pregnancy because your body already knows how to produce milk and it's getting ready for something it already knows how to do. My first pregnancy I only leaked once closer to my due date and I did pump for a year so I'm assuming the second time around my body will already know what to do. I mean sometimes I still get that tingly feeling when your milk drops even though I haven't breastfed for over a year now so I think our bodies just remember how to do things that they already did previously

I’m a maternity nurse and you produce colostrum from 16 weeks, not at bad idea to pump and freeze it then you can use it on nights when you need sleep and Kurt can feed baby in a bottle! It’ll also help to make sure you colostrum is ready when you have your baby 🥰
We collect colostrum from 36 weeks onwards as too early can potentially induce or term labour. So I get to start soon just like I did with Fox👍🏼😍
@@SarahsDay Haaka makes a ladybug milk collector with no suction that could possibly help you collect what you are leaking now while also avoiding hand expression before 36 weeks if you wanted to do that! So excited for you! I have a 9 month old and seeing you prepare like this is so nostalgic 🥺🥲

It's so great that you are sharing what is happening while your pregnant! There were so many weird pains through my pregnancy and it is really easy to feel like you are the only one experiencing it as they don't really get talked about!
"Nipples go spicy" 😂 that’s soooo true. I was in early false labor for 2.5 weeks before birth with my 2nd baby. I was 40 weeks 6 days. I knew I needed my water to break and so I asked my midwife to break it and I gave birth 3 hours later. With my 1st baby I went into labor naturally and had a 9 hour labor. It was 39 weeks 3 days with him. Both unmediated births 😍❤️

I laughed too lol In California I've always called the part that connects to the road where the water flows the gutter and the concrete step part the curb.
We call the curb the tall part (the part you step up or down off of) and the gutter is the part where they put a drain at the bottom/on the road along the edge. Hope I made sense lol Hope your toe is okay!

My due date was 06.09 and I really wanted to give birth on the first of September. On the 31st of August I went into spontaneous labor and delivered my baby on the 1st of Sept. Labor and delivery really is a mind game! 🙌🏽♥️

The budgy smugglers in NZ are called speedos specifically those short boys ones otherwise they’re called togs (one-piece togs, bikinis, board shorts, basically anything you swim in our togs). We sometimes do call those boys underwear ones budgy smugglers as a joke.

Yes, my second pregnancy I ended up in the hospital 2 weeks early with labor pains and no cervical change... they just gave me an IV of fluids and sent me home. My 3rd I ended up there at 32 weeks, they had to give me the awful meds to stop it, and then again at 34 weeks... they gave me the awful meds again, but he said, "nope! I want out!" I gave birth early with him.

Im just going to say, if you put negativity into the universe, you will get it in return. Constantly complaining about your pregnancy and how painfull it is ect, your mind is hyperfocused on trying to prove that your in pain. Nothings happens in the body without your brain telling it too. If you look into it, you can actually have a pleasant birthing experience, by focusing on you contractions as waves, and feeling pressure instead of something else. Also putting out the content and the idea that pregnancy is so painful and dreadful is false and so negative, everyone is thinking, oh wow poor sarah, that looks so painful, then the universe will deliver that aswell as your mind. Your in pain because of your mindset, its your fault. Im a strong believer in this topic, Ellen Fisher, a mother of 4 and shes currently carrying her 5th, and she has been working every pregancy on striving for the best outcome, no pain medication, she gives birth at her home in a birthing tub and she always says its not painful, it takes a lot of hard work and changing your mindset, geting the proper guidence. Im not trying to be mean or anything, im just trying to spread my knowledge, i dont want you to be in pain, i know its real, but changing this norm of painful pregnancys and births is wrong, and you are a strong woman sarah, so please, look into Ellen Fishers channel, she has a whole video on it, shes a beautiful positive person, and she makes sure that the content she puts out is positive. Thats what we need in this world. not people complaining about their lives, like your living the life, be grateful. i cannot be the only person thinking this lol. ima a mother so i know, but please. spread good vibes with your platform. good luck
