Ive got a bunch of new videos in the works + a 10 episode mini series of an "Impossible Route" style adventure (The Great Pacific Coastline) where I road from Canada to Mexico along the west Coast. The next 3 months are gonna be good with stories. Now, I cant do any of this stuff without your support and the support of my partners. Tifosi took a gamble on me and helped fund my advenunters this year, they just dropped a signature colorway sunglass, only 250 made, in the pink n blue. If you wanted a sick pair of Shades, the same frame n style im running in this video, supporting this drop helps a ton : tifosioptics.com/pages/the-vegan-cyclist
You should be picked up by Outdoors or Discovery+ your films so much better than ~90% of what they posting up! Can't wait for these new projects to come to film, in the meantime still enjoying the VC archive, a national treasure!
It’s mostly jokes, not that serious, but I do want to go on the record “I did offer to pay him for his footage.” Would be cool if the Bonk Bros had me as a guest for a full “FLAME ON” podcast 😂
You make THE BEST cycling content on YT! I love how your game is constantly changing. As a professional editor of 20+ years, I am constantly impressed with your work (especially Impossible Route). You are a gift to the community. So I say Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.
Really appreciate the support! It’s hard to make cycling races worth the time to watch so I’m always working on the storytelling craft. It’s come along way since my first videos 🤙🤙
Dude, this video is awesome! Growing up on a BMX, racing downhill in my tweens, religiously riding XC in my college years, and now (15 years later) getting into recreational gravel riding because I'm an overweight office worker, your videos are motivating me to get on the bike as much as possible.
Thank you for your awesome content. You get me through 3-7 hr spin sessions training for TT worlds in Borrego. Hope to see you there! You're the man! And you always make me laugh, so that's worth a few bucks 😃
You are so kind! The grind of getting ready for 24hr worlds is a lot of time in the TT position 😂 I remember it well. Not 100% sure if I’m doing it this year, I’m gonna feel out how the end of the year goes. I do have unfinished business there though, regardless, good luck out there if I don’t see you.
It was so cool seeing you at the race. We didnt chat but I saw you interacting with everyone, doing track stands etc.....I love your fun, go get life adventurous attitude. Watching your channel over the years I believe the content and your story telling is first class. Your "Breath" video from many years ago tells so much about the life of a cyclist and the evolution we go through. Living in Indiana, your videos help me stay inspired during the cold dark winter months. I have participated in 3 Dust Bowl 100's, never in the pointy end. Ive crashed in the turn before the covered bridge, felt like quitting due to heat etc..and I can attest that you told the story of this event perfectly! Fast, no selection point, many turns and above all LOOSE GRAVEL! I would love to see you come back and extinquish the flame rider :)
Tyler!! Your vids are always so inspiring, love to see you bring that uplifting energy to others on race day too. Starting to ride thanks to your stories, keep em coming man 💕
Great content 😂 i love this actually... came upon your content from funny enough quiting smoking.. at one week today and i have been fixing the old bike i had in the garage.. rode it for the first time.. first 2 miles in a very long time and with being a new non smoker i cant wait to push myself and feel great just being alive again. Looking forward to seeing your future adventures
Another great video VC and I’m super happy to see you in my home state of Indiana and that you got to experience that Hoosier hospitality. And yup, that humidity will get ya. Great result and ride.
@@DrewDillmanChannel Hopefully this is only goofy beef. Life is too short and you’re both grown men riding bikes, keep the heckling to a fun level and make sure everyone is friends first and competitors second. On that note I love both your channels and hope you both prosper in your future endeavors.
Tyler, your videos are the best movies ever made about cycling. Even though my riding never feels like the cocaine fuelled epic fast ride vibes you have in your videos, most rides I get small glimpses of it and it keeps me going every day. Thank you so much.
That means so much dude! I put in a crazy amount of effort to convey my feelings of the day to you. Which is hard 😂 For context, the little 10s animated part with the riders and group positions took an hour to create. 1 hour for a 10s animation is wild but your comment makes it worth it.
Gonna need to get with DJ on those tire pressures/widths. Cool to see you come to Indiana to race on what my mind thinks of when you say "gravel" the white rocks of death and so much handlbar chatter. I can feel the vibration in my bones when I ride on that stuff for more than a few minutes.
@@aamj50 you are right but from the footage the gravel seems super smooth and fast rolling, so their is a case for slimmer tyres. Even DJ rides 42 Pathfinders on faster courses... A 44m Mezcal would be super nice here, or a mixed setup like rombus - pathfinder or cannonbal - washburn in order to grip in the loose stuff
I’m a little shook to hear Marc O’Learys voice on Vegan cyclists channel. Thanks Tyler for going all out and giving me a sense of nostalgia. I was at the first three Dust bowls, and learned all about cycling (and got fit for my kids all on Putnam County roads.) Big “yuuuuh” of gratitude to you.

But the Midwest is deceptive and you won’t realize until it’s too late. Great ride overall and great video as well. Looking forward to the next impossible route!

Good Video! It was cool to meet and ride with you at the t-shirt ride. (I was the "hockey player") That was a good day in Indiana- I was only about 2 hours behind you! :) Keep the rubber side down!
