I’m more concerned if tanaka or gruev gets injured we are in deep water now they also got international duty coming up. Plus ampadu as backup for cbs is another issue. We need luck to get through the next so many weeks now
Amps will be missed, but we have two solid options in Tanaka and Rothwell. My main concern is CB! We have Wober out and Pascal on the verge of another adductor problem. It's a big ask for Debayo to step up regularly in an almost perfect defensive record.

Squad depth totally depleted, if there was any in the first place. Got to battle on but oh boy we can’t afford any more out injured.
Just typical of our luck, but then we have left ourselves with the smallest squad in the division . I get the feeling that wont be the end of it as we cant seem to finish a game without a new injury concern.
At the end of the day injuries are part and parcel of football and we did not do enough in the transfer window once again!

This isn't good news at all. This is why you need to have a big squad. I just hope that the player that replaces can do the job.

Lets face it, Ampadu is a good player, however, he is prone to mistakes and is never positive with making forward passes. So lets see if the others can prove themselves, now IS their chance.
It's more the leadership being missed that I am worried about - not necessarily replacing the quality. Think Tanaka / Rothwell can cover the skillset
Absolutely gutted about Ampadu but I feel we have enough cover in midfield. Centre back could be more of an issue because any injury to Rodon or Struik leaves us extremely vulnerable. This is we’re the 49ers only got a 5.5/10 from me the squad has suddenly become very thin

Is it a tear or complete rupture? I done my ACL’s at YTS level and it cost me a pro contract in the end. Nowadays they manage youth better who go through massive growth spurts by stopping you playing! Had Osgood-Schlatter disease in both knees as well which all contributed! They know so much these days tho
Blessing in disguise. tanaka will mail his place in the starting 11 and team will excel. By the time Ampadu comes back the question will be whether he replaces Gruev or has to help cover injuries in the back 4. But tanaka will be in starting 11 form now until end of season. He will become player of the year. Keep believing
Just shattering news, not only a huge loss for the midfield but he also covered CB in case of injury, big big hit to our promotion hopes, just pray that Tanaka & Co can step up !.

This means Conors favourite Leeds player Gruev is guaranteed a game until the New Year unless he joins the injury list. Actually I can see Tanaka and Gruev being a great successs. I have every faith in them. In case Strujk goes out I am sure Debayo and Rodon could also do a job. I am even sure that Gruev could also play centre back in a total emergency situation if necessary. Its bad news for Ampadu having this long break out but it gives Tanaka and Rothwell a chance to show what they are made off. I think we can ride this out unless we get more injuries then we will be in trouble.

Realistically it's 18 games. It's bloody awful. While he will be badly missed in midfield his absence mean that we are now v short of CB cover 🙈🙈
The lads won 3 nil, Ampadu was subbed before the 2nd. It's not a huge blow at all...
I honestly feel modern footballer's are playing to many game's especially at top clubs and every competition keeps expanding the amount of game's which is leading to far more injuries.
But as you said we have a decent size squad with cover, it's a professional sport and injuries will happen.
I feel its partially too many games, but the major issue is far too much training. Years ago players would take at least 2 complete rest days out of a 7 day week. Now players are in training Sunday after the game on Saturday which is completely unnecessary.
It's a constant physical overload, which will result in soft tissue injuries. Absolutely no need for it.
Great that we adequately strengthened in the Summer window with depth for a brutal season because we learned our mistakes from all the previous seasons with a small squad.

It's at least 10 games he will miss mate. Estimated return to team training is December.
Course its a massive blow lol as Farke said he probably wont be back in side till January with training , to call it anything else is daft , if its january 1st thats 18 games no idea where you get 6 from
@@aragornelessar956 there is two international breaks , I’ve not looked at the fixtures but I’ll be surprised if there is 10 games in 10 weeks with 2 international breaks .
11 games to start of december its alot of games!
