I agree with more shots out of the box need to be taken, mix it up as you said. Tanaka looks superb. Lightning fast and intelligent. He needs to be in the starting eleven for me. Good assesment this Evie Joe, Conor & co have competition. Keep on it 👍

I thought we were excellent for an hour. Understandably we then began to ease off a tad. Rejuvinated after the subs and a very well deserved win. Special shout out to Willy and Ramazani who's workrate helping out the defence was a joy to watch. A very difficult game tomorrow now. Cheers Evie 🤍💛💙
Yes it's great to see Willy helping out defensively as that was missing a fair bit last season. MOT
the pace of Aaronson and how quick he moves the ball is a massive improvement to attacking play, it'll do him the world of good, being in the championship.
100% agreed, the next step in his progression would be to continue to work on the weight of his passes and being able to take a screamer of a shot. If he could hit his strikes harder and more accurate he would be a very dangerous player.
Thanks for the post-match review! Not much to complain about with that performance! I believe we only had 10 points after seven games last year (9th in the league with only two wins, one loss). We played different teams for sure, but interesting to compare the starts to the two seasons. I'm happy with our start.
Hi Evie, it's truly delightful to watch your podcasts. Again you talk a lot of sense about our Leeds and the good points and the bad or poor points.
Yes I watched the Coventry game on my TV as I cannot buy a match ticket anymore now they have gone digital. Ime an old git now lol of 72 years of age and I am a bit of a dinosaur and prefer the old way of buying a ticket that I can actually hold physically in my hand.
I used to live in the lovely market town of Yeadon where the airport is and I've been a passionate Leeds fan since 1965.
I live in Nottingham now since I was 10 but I have travelled many many times up to Elland Rd to watch our Leeds.
Another lovely female Leeds fan I've met a few times and you perhaps may know is Heidi Haigh who has wrote many fantastic books of her travels following Leeds all over the country.
Do give her my very best wishes if you do bump into her as I havnt now got anyway to get in touch with her cos I came off Facebook for personal reasons a couple of years ago and also poor health. I've bought a number of her excellent books.
I hope that you didn't me mind rambling on a bit about Heidi and I do apologise cos she is about the same age as me and without doubt one of Leeds Utd greatest fans.

@1152glasbym that's such a lovely message. Don't ever apologise for rambling as I do so much of it myself. I hadn't heard of her so I have just given her a quick Google. I think I may have to buy a couple of her books! Thank you for telling me about her. I also fully agree with the digital tickets, I much prefer to have the option for either rather than just being told you can only have it in digital form. I like to keep tickets for games, theatre shows or concerts and nowadays you can't. Thank you for your kind words, it really spurs me on to make more videos. Looking forward to seeing your rambles again 😊
Brilliant performance Evie but iam gutted about the Amps injury 10 weeks every season we never seem to catch a break regarding injuries but ive realised there is an International break coming up so will take up some time so it will only be 6 six weeks out time for the others to step up be nice to take 6 points with these big 2 games coming up.

I disagree first ana foremost is defence .to many defenders ball watching when attack is on left wing right wingers just have all the room they need when ball is crossed the defenders football brain should know this instinctly.keeper needs to call them out take control no player is immune for sloppy defence play not to.MOT.
@tabby8426 Are you saying that's what happened in the game? I only saw Coventry do that once and Bogel got back and positioned himself well. If you're talking more general then yes we do need to be switched on for the switch of play.
Switch off play is nothing new it's not the modern game it's always been the way.we have for many years been inept at dealing with tactical defence especially the left.so many points thrown down the defensive drain.MOT.
@tabby8426 I agree it's something that we have struggled with for years. I don't think I said it was anything new, I just made mention that us changing things up and doing switches of play was fairly new under farke as it didn't happen a great deal last season. Hopefully we can get better at dealing with it from a defensive point though 🙏

Coventry were awful played 2 decent teams 1 point no goals
Can only play the game in front of us, last season we got 1 point out of this fixture. You win promotion by beating the rubbish teams. Leicester and Ipswich both failed against us last season and yet they walked the league
It was a good win Evie for Leeds 3.0 clean sheet 3 good goals 3 different players for assists good assist by Junior Firpo 🙌 for Willy then Largie for his assist for Jayden Bogle chuffed to bits for the lads scoring his first Leeds goal 🫶🙌. The build up for the last goal was sublime that pass from Ao Tanaka 🇯🇵🎌🫶 what a classy pass to Willy to assist Mr Piroe 🤙ice man to score his goal super sub 🤙🫶. Matty Joseph is getting better doing a lot of work for the team that's down to Patrick taking him under his 🪽 wing paying dividends now 🤩🙌. Whole team playing for Daniel Farke and each other all smiling 😁. Big blow that Ethan Ampadu is out for 10 weeks 😲😳we have cover in Ao Tanaka 🇯🇵🎌 and joe Rothwell and Largie is getting his chance because Manor Solomon is out 😲. Watched Daniel Farkes press conference he was calm and trust's the lads he spoke well answered all the questions put to him 🙌🤩 whole team as ONE and for each other respect to Daniel Farke 🫶🤝🙌. Thanks Evie excellent analysis onwards and upwards 👆 Evie 🤝🫶. Great,assessment evie,though I think the next chapter has kicked on with further injuries & especially amps out for up to ten weeks. We need resilience and players to step up,piroe is the anomaly in the piece now.ĥow do we solve a nice problem like joel piroe.these next two away games are on a knife edge.lets hope leeds don't rue the opportunities..
I agree, this is time for the new boys to step up. Will be interesting to see how Farke deals with the rotation of Gruev, Tanaka and Rothwell plus maybe getting Crewe involved. Let's just hope we don't lose Struijk again ti injury at least until Ampadu is back!
