While sects like the Shia and the Sufis are merely upon bidah, they are still generally considered Muslims by scholars, but most of these sects mentionned like the Alawites, Ibadis, Ismailis, Ahmadis, etc. are considered seperate religions because they are heretical.

The prophet peace be upon him said : "the jews have Split into 71 groups, and christians have split into 72 groups, and my Ummah will spilt into 73 groups, all go to hell but one" There are many ideologies and beliefs that have emerged at different stages of Islamic history, all of which attribute themselves to Islam, but true Islam will always remain what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) brought with him, not what people came up with many years later. Note: when the prophet says "all go to hell but one" it does'nt necessarily mean they go there for eternity, it depends on how far each groups is from his beliefs and teachings, some go so far they completely leave islam and are punished for eternity, and some are punished only for a temporary period, but they all get punished for sure.

Some of these groups are just straight up haram and should be closed. I follow the quran and sahih hadith. I don't like to follow interpretation of the Quran much, cause it is protected by Allah and has the best preservation, but i don't mind following interpretion of the hadith (it has to follow common sense) since it's not protected by Allah and doesn't have the same level of preservation. After which i really don't care about schools, alims or scholars. I follow common sense and science to fill in the rest of the small gaps.

Even though hadiths aren't stated to be protected at the same level as Quran, hadiths are stillbpreserved and reliable and their reliability defined through hadith science. There are mutawatir degree hadiths, there are qudsi hadith. There are literally no reasons to reject hadiths. People only reject hadiths when their faith is shaken, or I should say, they never had a true faith to begin with. I think they always have been munafiqs and became non-muslim or hadith rejector when they are afraid of islamophobic claims. Look, islamic knowledge is ocean, you have to be really knowledgeable to be able navigate there. To reject scholars you yourself need to be a very big scholar, a scholar of the mutlaq-mujtahid level (an absolute mujtahid). Or at least mujtahid within one madhab. Which you aren't.

Can they be considered as equal? » (39:39). He (عليه السلام) said: «The quarrelsome ones» are because the first ones gather the different ones in his leadership and they did la`nah (curse) and did bara’a (disassociate) from each other. «The well disciplined man» is the first in the matters of his right as well as his Shee`ahs (followers). Then He (عليه السلام) said: “The Jews after Moosa (عليه السلام) separated into 71 sects of which one is in Jannah (i.e. Heaven) and the (remaining) 70 sects are in the fire (i.e. Hell). And the Christians after `Eesa (عليه السلام) separated into 72 sects of which one sect is in Jannah and the (remaining) 71 (sects) are in the fire. And this Ummah after the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) separated into 73 sects and 72 sects are in the fire and one sect is in Jannah and from the 73 sects, 13 of the sects plagiarize/impersonate friendship and wilayah of us (the Imaams), and 12 sects from it are in the fire, and one sect is in Jannah, and the (remaining) 60 sects from the rest of the people are in the fire” Source: 1. Ahmadies also acknowledge Muhammad pbuh as the last prophet and seal of prophet and believe Mirza Ghulam Ahmad not more than what Muhammad pbuh predicted and told us to do so..... 2ndly Muslims all over the world also waiting for jesus the old one..... So indirectly they don't believe Muhammad pbuh as last prophet..... It's just a difference of old or new between us...

Shiaa sect didn't emerge right after the prophet's pbhu death, they only really took form during and after the rule of the fourth caliphate Ali around 20 years after the prophets death. The first sect that emerged outside of the majority of Muslims was the Kharajites though.
Shia emerged before the death of Muhammad pbuh at the event of Ghadeer Khum when Muhammad pbuhap revealed the final verse of the Quran and raised the hand of Ali pbuh and said “Whoever Im a master of then Ali is his master”

That's the problem you will face if more people from different parts, different cultures of the world are make to follow one religion which they don't preferly suits them. Brother those names of these "sects"were created by our scholars so that we may recognise those misguided people with a wrong aqeedah and dont confuse them for ahlu sunnah. We must warn against the creeds of those sects. And whoever has an aqeedah that's not in line with the one of aluh sunnah is a kafir and therefore he is one from the misguided sects
The prophet peace be upon him said : "the jews have Split into 71 groups, and christians have split into 72 groups, and my Ummah will spilt into 73 groups, all go to hell but one"
There are many ideologies and beliefs that have emerged at different stages of Islamic history, all of which attribute themselves to Islam, but true Islam will always remain what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) brought with him, not what people came up with many years later.
Note: when the prophet says "all go to hell but one" it does'nt necessarily mean they go there for eternity, it depends on how far each groups is from his beliefs and teachings, some go so far they completely leave islam and are punished for eternity, and some are punished only for a temporary period, but they all get punished for sure.

Some of these groups are just straight up haram and should be closed. I follow the quran and sahih hadith. I don't like to follow interpretation of the Quran much, cause it is protected by Allah and has the best preservation, but i don't mind following interpretion of the hadith (it has to follow common sense) since it's not protected by Allah and doesn't have the same level of preservation. After which i really don't care about schools, alims or scholars. I follow common sense and science to fill in the rest of the small gaps.

In this case it's clear that the only true islam is the sunni/salafy islam, because its follow the Quran,the ahadith, the words of the sahaba and the salafis word for word, while all the others rejects some ahadith, names of allah, verse of the Quran, ecc.

Even though hadiths aren't stated to be protected at the same level as Quran, hadiths are stillbpreserved and reliable and their reliability defined through hadith science.
There are mutawatir degree hadiths, there are qudsi hadith. There are literally no reasons to reject hadiths. People only reject hadiths when their faith is shaken, or I should say, they never had a true faith to begin with. I think they always have been munafiqs and became non-muslim or hadith rejector when they are afraid of islamophobic claims.
Look, islamic knowledge is ocean, you have to be really knowledgeable to be able navigate there. To reject scholars you yourself need to be a very big scholar, a scholar of the mutlaq-mujtahid level (an absolute mujtahid). Or at least mujtahid within one madhab. Which you aren't.

From Aboo Khaalid Al-Kaabulee (Kankar) from Abee Ja`far (عليه السلام): He said: (asked about the words) «God tells a parable in which there is a company of quarrelsome people and only one of them is well disciplined. Can they be considered as equal? » (39:39).
He (عليه السلام) said: «The quarrelsome ones» are because the first ones gather the different ones in his leadership and they did la`nah (curse) and did bara’a (disassociate) from each other. «The well disciplined man» is the first in the matters of his right as well as his Shee`ahs (followers).
Then He (عليه السلام) said: “The Jews after Moosa (عليه السلام) separated into 71 sects of which one is in Jannah (i.e. Heaven) and the (remaining) 70 sects are in the fire (i.e. Hell).
And the Christians after `Eesa (عليه السلام) separated into 72 sects of which one sect is in Jannah and the (remaining) 71 (sects) are in the fire.
And this Ummah after the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) separated into 73 sects and 72 sects are in the fire and one sect is in Jannah and from the 73 sects, 13 of the sects plagiarize/impersonate friendship and wilayah of us (the Imaams), and 12 sects from it are in the fire, and one sect is in Jannah, and the (remaining) 60 sects from the rest of the people are in the fire”

Everyone has different opinions, there is no need to disrespect others opinions. Just because we have different beliefs, we dont need to disrespect each other. I feel so sad when i see muslims not respecting each other. I've seen muslims respecting other religions but not other beliefs in islams. Why..?

Shiaa sect didn't emerge right after the prophet's pbhu death, they only really took form during and after the rule of the fourth caliphate Ali around 20 years after the prophets death. The first sect that emerged outside of the majority of Muslims was the Kharajites though.
Shia emerged before the death of Muhammad pbuh at the event of Ghadeer Khum when Muhammad pbuhap revealed the final verse of the Quran and raised the hand of Ali pbuh and said “Whoever Im a master of then Ali is his master”

Here's your answer. From Aboo Khaalid Al-Kaabulee (Kankar) from Abee Ja`far (عليه السلام): He said: (asked about the words) «God tells a parable in which there is a company of quarrelsome people and only one of them is well disciplined. Can they be considered as equal? » (39:39).
He (عليه السلام) said: «The quarrelsome ones» are because the first ones gather the different ones in his leadership and they did la`nah (curse) and did bara’a (disassociate) from each other. «The well disciplined man» is the first in the matters of his right as well as his Shee`ahs (followers).
Then He (عليه السلام) said: “The Jews after Moosa (عليه السلام) separated into 71 sects of which one is in Jannah (i.e. Heaven) and the (remaining) 70 sects are in the fire (i.e. Hell).
And the Christians after `Eesa (عليه السلام) separated into 72 sects of which one sect is in Jannah and the (remaining) 71 (sects) are in the fire.
And this Ummah after the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) separated into 73 sects and 72 sects are in the fire and one sect is in Jannah and from the 73 sects, 13 of the sects plagiarize/impersonate friendship and wilayah of us (the Imaams), and 12 sects from it are in the fire, and one sect is in Jannah, and the (remaining) 60 sects from the rest of the people are in the fire”

That's the problem you will face if more people from different parts, different cultures of the world are make to follow one religion which they don't preferly suits them. If you force them, they will modify your religion into something for their own comfort to practice. This applies to all religions even though it's wrong by you but it can be good for someone else. It's just atleast theyy believe same God, but it's the difference in practice of religion.
