    As an Arab of Palestinian origins, I am very tired of the whole region being engulfed in conflict. For the region to thrive all the people living there need to make an attempt at some sort of peace. I know it all sounds wishwashy and hippie-like but I am positive it will happen. Jews and Muslims lived together peacefully in the past and it seems a lot of Muslim Israelis are integrated into Israeli society, I don't see why peace cannot be achieved in the future once political corruption in the region is fixed.

      You are strangely the only Palestinian I've seen on these comment sections that view the situation with some necessary nuance, very odd and very progressive, not many Zionists think this either. Please tell me if many Palestinians (and perhaps Jews) you know think like you do?

      Amen! One of best and purest comments I have read on this forum. The differences and issues are really imaginary; a mass hypnosis.

      As another Palestinian with similar views I can tell you that a big chunk of the problem stems from fundamentalist religious ideologues from both sides. A big help to our problems would be proper education and a mutual understanding of each others viewpoints.

    • @chugalongway01
      @chugalongway01 7 років тому +10

      You will find that Christian/Muslim Israelis are not integrated into Israeli society but are segregated and live in a kind of purgatory whose future is still in dispute. Palestinian Israelis are classified as "resident alien" and can never be included in a state that openly defines itself as not theirs. The problem isn't political corruption. The problem is an ideology that can only survive by denying people basic human rights.

      Well, it's complicated because everyone should respect each other's being, culture, race, whatever entity they belong to. When people are able to respect each other things will start moving into what we hope for. Until then...chaos. Respect should be universal. BTW, I have a Syrian dentist here in Europe. I love him in more words than I can describe, even if he looks slightly different and comes from a different culture. He respected me, I respected him, and we get along fantastic. Thanks for your interesting Videos! It's really interesting to see different Point of views from People living in Israel as Jews or Arabs. Here in Germany and the rest of the world in general nearly everyone who is interested in politics has his "solution" or statement on the conflict. Everybody seems to know how it might be solved and who is guilty or "more guilty". In fact your Videos are a way to show peaple, that this Situation is more complex than just black and white. For me, trying to be empathic for every direction, I try to understand how/why fear and aggression are so deep, that there is barely a possibility to see it just "objective". For us as europeans it's not seizable and it strides our competence as People who are not involved. Here you often can see an identification with those who look poor and helpless, we see boys throwing stones against tanks and armed soldiers but we don't see the deep fears behind it on both sides. We don't feel the fears of being killed by knive-attacks f.e. on the one hand and we don't know about the difficulties of being confronted with that fear and mistrust.
    If you're interested I'd like to ask questions from Israelis and Palestinians to german People how they look on this conflict.

      Jassy Bergs Yeh most Israelis will have warm feelings towards a people that, bottom line, they lived with for at least a good 1000 years (Arabs & Jews in the ME). Most Israeli Jews have family history in Arab lands, for me too. There are of course decent, good people in the Arab world. Importantly, there are good & bad aspects of every culture, & it's the bad aspects they fear. Especially after having suffered the consequences of "letting down your guard" in our neck of the woods.

    • @interestingyoutubechannel1
      @interestingyoutubechannel1 7 років тому +16

      Sara A Not really. You ask Palestinian Arabs privately (including Muslims) and they will tell you the Jews are known to be too "soft", that the Jews show emotion, empathy, even towards their enemies and that it makes them weak - but that they (Arabs) love us for it. I've even had it said to me by Arab Palestinians that they wish they were more like us in this respect, that they have something to learn from us. I'm mentioning Arabs who have had a lot of experience living with Jews, not those who never met Jews other than soldiers. Anyway, I of course would say back to them that there's a lot to admire about Arab culture, & that I don't think we Jews are too "soft" with our enemies, but they would insist haha

      @chugalongway01 7 років тому +1

      interestingyoutubechannel Stop your bullshit. Not only do the Palestinians but the whole world knows that the Zionists have no empathy for Palestinians. Zionists are comfortable with Israelis discriminatory, segregationist policies and its criminal actions. If you did have empathy you would support BDS and the small number of Israeli activists who fight against the daily abuses of the Zionist enterprise. You people are so deranged you are blind to your criminality.

    Of course they are treated fairly. They get help with education in universities. By getting money from the state or some sort of different grades they need in order to get there. The Ethiopians got these privelegies too in Israel.
    Also Israeli Arabs mostly have a good quality of living. Most of them live in villages, but this is they're choice.
    They get integrated in every field, medicine, high tech, police, law and any thing you can imagine.
    But there's a bunch of people who don't want to learn or speak Hebrew, and because of that can't get integrated.

      Mohamad Ehsan I know many Arabs in Israel who say that we (Jews) have shown them kindness, friendship, and that it's a lot more difficult for them in Syria (even before civil war), Lebanon, etc. It might not be fair, if you've not done any violent acts, that you have to cross time-consuming security gates to commute into Israel, but blame the extremist fascist groups like hamas who caused this situation, not us.

      Yes, one day Judea and Samaria will be free of Arab occupation. One day. Yes, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Egypt give lots of shits for their Palestinian populations, dont they?

      Druze Israeli men are drafted - just like Jewish Israelis. Also members of many Bedouin tribes. This was in accordance with the policy of the Druze and Bedouin leaders. There are a small number of (other) Arab citizens who volunteer, but in very small numbers.

    The guy in the beginning looks more Arab then a lot of Arabs I know. But Israelis choose to talk always in the "we" terms. Then the women who claim that muslims are brainwashed are also lost. The Russian guy have no problems with muslims and like to work together. Fourth: the Polish women are honest but afraid.
    ... and the song goes on.
    People should respect each other and live together and if Israel can't accomplish this, then eventually countries will jump in to show them how to live and love!

    Whether they are treated fairly or not ,IT IS TOTALLY AND ABSOLUTELY UP TO THEM....!!!!!!
    The only thing I can say is that they are treated way better than at any of their "brothers"
    countries and, if anybody doubts it, just ask any them whether they would like to move to any of these countries.....and watch their answer....
    Not long ago, in view of the murderers of the two Israeli policemen at the Temple Mount having come from the Arab-Israeli town of Uhm-el_Fahm, Israel Defense Minister stated it
    would be advisable to hand over the town to the Palestinian Authority, to which the people
    unanimously answered the equivalent to "OUR DEAD BODIES"...!!!!!

      Compact Jam no,it was a british mandate that was meant to be one until the jewish people of the area of "palestine" will build their own goverment,which will have an arab state(notice how even in the UN it was called arab) next to it.
      Of course it didn't happend since both the 4 surrouding states and the arabs that lived in the land which is now israel attacked,meaning that the UN plan never came out,and the ones to blame for that are the arabs.
      BTW,Hitler had a strong "friendship" with the religous leader of the arabs in mandate "palestine" because they both hated jews.

    • @roykonzizky2907
      @roykonzizky2907 6 років тому +2

      Compact Jam no,it wasn't a country,saying that is wrong since it was a mandate,if there was a country there than the british mandate would not have been needed.
      Do you actauĺly believe that the arab states want law and order?
      Because saying that is like saying that those countries have full equal rights to all people.
      And they had their chance of building a palestinian state,but jordan and egypt occupied the gaza strip and the west bank,with no intention of building a palestinian state.
      By the way the term palestinian to describe an arab living in mandate "palestine" existed only since 1967.

      זה שהוא הומו זה לא אומר שהוא צריך להראות רק נשים מכוערות.
      דווקא כשהוא שואל פלסטיניות הוא כן תופס כמה יפות, אבל עם הישראליות תמיד או זקנות או מכוערות.
