Guigsy was sitting at home a few months before the Standing on the shoulder of giants tour, looked at his bank balance and thought "That'll do" lit up a joint and put his feet up.
Andy Bell = Biblical. Listen to his pre - Oasis career. Hurricane #1 - Step Into My World. What a song, what a guitar solo from Andy. And before that, Ride. Nowhere and Going Blank Again. Remarkable!
Fair enough I just think he was doing it before, during and after Oasis, and The Who while they are one of the great bands he’s really playing with them as a heritage act now. It’s not like he’s a key element of a new band setting the world alight now… know what I mean? If I did this now he’d be higher because of Mantra Of The Cosmos
Clutching at straws a bit with this 😂 Noel definitely had the best solo career though, im actually a bit disappointed we won't be getting any new high flying birds albums for a while because i can't see any new oasis music being that good
@@harrypainter7472 you're right but pretty much everything Noel has written post oasis was better than oasis from 97 onwards, that's because he can't write aggressive rock songs anymore that would suit Liam the most. Even lock all the doors was a 92' demo I had the original for years. That's where the problem lies. Noel has found his own groove which gives him more creative freedom, it's a shame as an oasis fan but I'd rather have HFB albums for that reason.
I don't think he mentioned that Tony mcarrol did a a really good book. Probably the best oasis book. Also, just my opinion but I think noels solo eclipses liams because he writes all of his own music. I do love Liam though
And please can someone tell me why Liam doesent perform the oasis songs that he wrote, I think they're brilliant Songbird Born on a different cloud I'm outta time
Chris Sharrock and Zak Starkey were never officially members of Oasis were they? They were basically hired hands, the band was officially a drummerless four-piece during their time. Tony McCarroll and Alan White are the only 'official' Oasis drummers.
It’s a good point what actually counts as being “a member”? I tend to think if you are in the core 5 piece band then that counts. But you could argue Mike Rowe or Jay Darlington were more than a member of Oasis. I have done an episode ranking every oasis member including touring members by importance
Cheers - maybe it was a bit harsh but he is basically just a live drummer playing the greatest hits occasionally it’s not like he’s writing songs with them or anything. However if I did this again his Mantra Of The Cosmos stuff would move him up a place definitely
Noel should definitely be in first place imo considering Liam was in Beady Eye and the debut HFB album is the best thing either of them have done since Morning Glory
Hah fair enough I suppose he was only there so briefly I discounted him but he was an official member i suppose! I think we all know what category he would be in though!
Guigsy is the holy grail of post Oasis mysteries

I agree but this is post-oasis! If we’re talking pre he would definitely be biblical!
@@oasispodcast suggestion - do the same with pre-oasis careers 🙂
Liam ahead? C'mon pal. Noel writes his own choons
I think Zak Starkey being the longtime drummer for The Who isn’t even remotely close to Decent. How is that not Biblical?

Bonehead was also part of The Vortex around 2010. Excellent band sounded a bit Primal Scream. Songs they had were Never Negotiate and Oblivion
Parlour Flames too
Yes good point
Tony wrote an epic book tho.
Tbh Liam secured his Biblical spot just purely because of his antics on twitter

If there's a new Oasis album and it's mostly written by Noel then that's basically the next HFB album, just with Liam vocals

Songbird
Born on a different cloud
I'm outta time
Bonehead is Biblical because he's Bonehead, enough said.
Also, Scott McLeod? lol

In what universe is being the drummer in the Who, IE: successor to *Keith Motherfucking Moon,* not at least "impressive"? Aside from that, solid list!

Anyone who was associated with Beady Eye has got to start with a -1, surely.

Once the pandemic is over? What pandemic
This was recorded in 2021
@@harrypainter7472 makes sense 🤣 wonder how the list stacks up with the real thing 😆
