What he has said is actionable and he should be sued for defamation. Since he had no real basis for his claim then he should receive a solicitor's letter demanding an apology otherwise he will face legal action.

Absolutely, labour recognised the Zionist agendas before Balfour, conservative, signed the declaration.
Ramsey MacDonald, the first labour pm was disgusting pro Zionism politician, he went far criticising the anti Zionist Jews for opposing Israel as what could be considered vile antisemitism by today’s standards:
“the rich plutocratic Jew was the true economic materialist. He is the person whose views upon life make one anti-Semitic. He has no country, no kindred. Whether as a sweater or a financier, he is an exploiter of everything he can squeeze. He is behind every evil that Governments do, and his political authority, always exercised in the dark, is greater than that of Parliamentary majorities”
and he also criticised the religious anti Zionist Jews.
