New UA-cam lesson. This is a lesson that will help you get out of a rut or just inspire you to come up with a new fills using some basic formulas. Give it a try and let me know what you think! Carlito www.carlitomendoza.com
Great lesson, love your sound on the drums. I think this and any linear phrases could be applied to syncopation and read an entire page following this method
Man, High quality, this is the words that I want to share with you! Nice sounds, nice way of learning! Your music loops are greats by the way. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, time and efforts. Regards.
I really enjoy your videos. The explanations are clear, the examples follow right after, your drumkit sounds sexy, and everything is straight to the point. I was wondering though: as someone who plays metal I tend to prefer everything notated at higher bpm's. It seems like dealing with 32nd notes can leave sheet music cluttered, is there a reason you prefer it?
Hey! Yeah so I use 32nd notes because the tempos are not that fast and because it theorietically correct. That's why for me if I'm writing a lot of 32nd notes I make sure there's enough space on the PDF file so that it's easier on the eye. The's pretty much it lol! However, thank you so much for your comment and more importantly checking it out! Have an amazing day!
+dea Hey! It's tied because it takes up the dotted 8th note takes up 3/16th notes, so if I notated it with another dotted eighth note it would "technically" be the wrong way to notate it. That's pretty much the only reason why there is a tie there. Hope that helps!

Why the tie in the B section?
+dea Hey! It's tied because it takes up the dotted 8th note takes up 3/16th notes, so if I notated it with another dotted eighth note it would "technically" be the wrong way to notate it. That's pretty much the only reason why there is a tie there. Hope that helps!
