My name is Dmitri, i live on the Gold Coast Australia. I remember a tingling sensation i would experience when i was young, as i grew i found i could trigger the experience when i found the right set stimuli like the tone of a person's voice, gentle massage, watching someone focus on a task. This was before video and internet were in the same thought range. Over time i found and experienced many different situations to learn about all the different triggers for ASMR. I translated that experience & combined some innate ability to help people experience it with the high quality studio recordings to bring the highest quality tingles i can.
ASMR is a tingly feeling the commonly felt in the scalp area and often down the back and other parts of the body. ASMS is commonly experienced through a soft spoken or whispering voice, ear to ear sounds or binaural sounds, watching or experience massage, plus a Variety of sounds like tapping crinkle scratching.
Some of the benefits of ASMR might be sleep relaxation reduce stress and anxiety
I specialize in no talking ASMR video's focusing on ASMR sounds, i try to create different video for all the different preferences people have. Some of my role plays are based in fictional characters like Dr Dmitri & Manwelle
I loved watching massage video to experience ASMR so i like to create video to replicate these experiences with other, like head massage, back massage for total body relaxation.
What is ASMR ? A theory
When your cranial nerves receives information in the form of sight, sounds & Senses your brain may process this information as let us say a "trigger" When you cranial nerves find that perfect combination of "Triggers" it activates the full effect of the parasympathetic nervous system almost like a symphony neurons hitting the perfect note as wave after wave of feelings cascades down the nervous system down the spine and to many parts of the body
I believe it may then releases one or more of: oxytocin, acetylcholine, GABA, Serotonin, endorphins directing into the brain and blood stream Instantly relaxing, clearing cortisol, adrenaline and soothes the body.
There is another side effect of this symphony that it puts the brain into a alpha state and after the person falls asleep allows them to access a deeper delta level state during sleep.
This theory idea was put forward to me by a very special person, i believe they have a insight and understanding of ASMR that even i do not have.

I had a older man once talking to me, a friend of a neighbour.. and we talked about something related to me, irdk anymore. And he sat right next to me, talking how he did "stuff" back in his time (I was about 8-9, now 19) and how funny it is I did stuff also.. maybe about Toys idk. And he Made me feel so relaxed and till this day I would never forget the exact same Scene.. man I got some solid asmr then. He was a Carpenter.. and he died many years ago. But he'd already did His whole time nicely here... He won't be forgotten at this point.

@@toketwo It's so weird to me that so many people have stories exactly like that. When I first discovered asmr, I realized how many times in the past I'd experienced it. I remember being mesmerized watching a girl in art class tracing something with a pencil. Same thing watching Bob Ross when I was little. Its funny that at that time, we were all experiencing everything people now associate with asmr. Sort of this relaxing, trance like state that didn't have a name. I can't believe how many people that ended up being true of.

When I was in primary school, my class went to some kind of museum. The woman who was showing us museum had amazing tingly voice. I was asking my friends and teachers do they have same feeling as me. I was describing it like the voice of this woman was tingling my head or smth. Similar experience to yours..

Hey Dmitri! I know exactly what you mean! I still remember experiencing ASMR as kid in elementary school and I had no idea what it was, I was like "what is this feeling, it feels great". This kid in my elementary school class had the softest voice and always talked real slow and it always gave me tingles and made me feel relaxed! I always enjoyed when the class went around the room reading. I remember the classmates name still, if only he had an ASMR channel all these years later(23years). Since I am immune to ASMR from overdoing these UA-cam videos I no longer get intense tingles 😢 I miss the tingles...

Back in the day I had a credit card at Dillard's department store. They had a hair salon, the experience was soooo asmr tingling. The small talk with the receptionist checking you in, then the stylist chatting with you about the style & cut you wanted. Then euphoria! The hair washing, warm water her fingers massaging your scalp I get tingles reflecting on it, then the haircut the small talk again and sissor sounds daaamn it was great!! Unfortunately they don't have a salon anymore and the credit card got put up forever. But that experience was asmr to the nines. Yeah I've been elsewhere many times but the high end store salon experience was so special, other places can't replicate unfortunately.Asmr has been huge in my life since I was in grade school in the 70's. I absolutely love it..

I know I had a reaction to ASMR when I was little, I just didn't know what it was. I also thought it was just me, It happened many times, but the one that sticks out for me was when I went on a family vacation to Mystic, Connecticut. There was this little souvenir shop that was ship and ocean themed ( we were near the water ), and the older lady who ran it had the softest voice. I don't remember what she was talking about, I just remember feeling very relaxed and tingly when she spoke.

    I was sitting down
Waiting to follow the my therapist out the door
    And she wrinkled some paper
And while she was wrinkling it between her hands, all of a sudden something so relaxing hit me it felt so nice
And i wanted more but i mean
I never knew what it was or even explain it

    The sounds of the paper
It was just so nice and felt it all over my head that i wanted to sleep

Have you thought of putting your vids on Spotify for just listening purposes. I know some people myself included that just like to listen to asmr at work. Would be nice to listen to the king with out having to worry about pesky youtube

this was a very interessting video, it wasnt necessarely strong ASMR but it was very entertaining. Also the things youve explained show that you are truly the king of ASMR out there. Dmitri for the win. Btw, still waiting for that Dr. Dmitri video coming soon! ;)

Hi Dmitri, would you possibly use an echo mic or an AGS mic for different effects within a tapping or crinkle video?
