Dmitri, I've been aware of D & D since 1982 or so, but never actually played it myself. This role play was terrific and I'm not even a fan of D & D! Hope you do more of it.
Actually, this crap failed pretty badly. The firs one got one of the lowest views of his videos and this second one got even less views. It's a failure of the series and you supporting it is not doing anyone any good, okay?
He gets paid already, as long as he does not post copyrighted material, he will get paid by the youtube sponsors based on the amount of views for each one of his videos.
I personally can't wait for more! D&D is a lot of fun, I've just recently started playing, and am having a blast! Maybe a little rough around the edges, but you've got a good story, and more importantly if you having fun then the campaign is going well :) Hope to see more
This better become a series. Or I'm going to be really sad. I don't really get enough D&D in my life (the two groups I'm a part of aren't consistent, as I said in my comment on the previous video), and while I did attempt to play alone twice (4th Edition doesn't like me doing that, because it essentially killed both groups I made at 1st level >.< ), there's no really role-playing value to it. I'm assuming this is 5th Edition, correct? I mean, it could be anything but 4th, really (unless there's other editions that use the grid map combat system, I'm really only familiar with 4th), I'm only basing my assumption off of the two PCs being a Lightfoot Halfling and a Hill Dwarf (instead of just "Halfling" and "Dwarf"). If it is 5th, have you played it [with others]? If so, how is it? Last things that have been nagging me in the back of my mind, Mr. Dwarf Cleric's name feels too...almost Elven, to me. That, and Dwarves and Goblins seem to get mixed up a lot in this adventure, eh? :P
I have been a DM for quite a fair amount of time now, and I really liked how lively and interesting your descriptions of events were in your first video. But here, for this video where so many characters and monsters were fighting at the same time, I would like to give you some pieces of advice. (If you would allow me to do so.) First of all, good job on describing the heroic and/or violent way that the party crushes, slash and splatter the goblins, this is a very good way of keeping your players (or in this case your viewers) entertained. Although, you should have your characters communicate a little bit more during combat, so that it does not lose the role play aspect of the game and become just people roping dice over descriptions. This is something I became well aware of while I was dm, for the players often lose interest at these moments (you know, waiting for their turn, not always so interested by how the other members of the party are doing, etc...) So, making them communicate, interact together, and sometimes elaborate a strategic plan on the spot are various ways of making a fight more lively and entertaining. (For example; Deverost could lend a javelin to another member of the party so they can both throw javelin at the same time if the enemy is too far away to engage them in melee combat.) Also, if you can, you should get at least another set of dice, so you don't have to repeatedly roll the same d20 for everyone, or initiative (plus it is pleasant to hear many dice rolled at one). Sorry if I'm making this comment a little bit too long, but it proves how much I care doesn't it. ;) Therefore, one last little advice that could change a lot (it's about ASMR after all) try putting a square piece of cardboard to roll your dice on. It makes a softer and pleasant sound I believe. Or you can try various other materials to roll your dice on (but try to avoid glass, the sound is too loud and high-pitched). Thank you again for making all these videos, it is much appreciated. And I shall eagerly wait your next d&d video. Farewell. BlackRaven003
I want to thank everyone for your comments, i do want to make this type of video a bit of a series. I think its fun and relaxing and i would lvoe to find a way to make it more interactive suggestions are welcome. Guillaume Cyr Thank you for your supportive criticism it is very helpful for me as i have never really played a DM and kind of take for granted many little things that i have not noticed. I have the perfect material to roll dice on, + a larger table will be in order. I will work on the party communicating more More dice on the way. I hope to do a few more of these vids, or many more. thanks again everyone
@@MassageASMR I have watched these videos over and over again now - the full series. It's such a relaxing story (even during combat) and I love the fantasy setting. I appreciate all the effort you put into trying to manage EVERY one of these five characters... I would love to see more of these in 2019 :)
I'm hoping you continue this series, and I sure wouldn't mind it if you put links to the characters' sheets in the video descriptions. I think that those of us who are pretty into D&D would appreciate that. You've really got to love that goblin-splatting action.
I played a game called geometry dash today. I had stuff i uses almost a year to get, i lost it all. Thanks for doing this to me and everyone Else u should just know how happy someone can be just because of a video :)
Hello dmitri. I'm french so I don't speak correctly in english but your vidéos and your ideas are just very great :-) You're the king of relaxation LOL
Strange question, but when you say "torch" here. I imagine you meant a fire torch. Would you call that and a traditional torch (flashlight) the same thing in day to day conversations?
I am a huge D&D player and fan and I've been absolutely loving this! I want to know what happens to our party! :) What's best is that I can listen to this at work and just... imagine what's happening since I don't have to look at the video!

Still watching in 2024. Would still love another D&D series, Dmitri. You are so good at it!
Same here, fellow watcher. I've fallen asleep to this series so many times! I'd love another campaign.
Indeed
ten goblins attacked and thirteen were killed by the party. that elf really is shady...
This is the best series since your Dr. Dimtri RP's. I would love to have you as a DM. Keep up the solid work man.
Brave man coming out with the D&D.
this video is very relaxing and unique! I love the storytelling and the excitement. 5 stars
I have never played D&D and I absolutely LOVE this! You are such a gift.

I have family from Australia, it was an innocent question asking if there was a differentiating term between the 2 objects. I am not mocking at all.
