I watch this video a lot and I'm always in love with all the subtle movements they do to add personality to the performance. I'm not in barbershop but I do perform as a source of income and I long to be as good as these guys when it comes to making people smile.
@@tommaxwell4470 You better. (JK, even though I don't know you. I'd only assume you're a good person, judging on how you listen to barbershop. I love you 🌹)
0:46 When you have a cold and are trying to match the starting pitch (Me a couple of weeks ago... my voice kept cracking, it was pretty sad, though my roommates got a laugh out of it)
all of those little bits are turnarounds that old barbershop tags used to use all the time. The “wawawawa”, “ba-dap-ba-da-da” and “we really mean it” are the most overused ones.
I see Main Street I click as fast as I can
Paulo Sanches ain’t that the truth

Mainstreet's tags always hit so different for me. I feel like they should get a little more recognition for them.
The 5 overtone is screaming at the end
I'm a simple man, I see Main Street I click play.

does anyone know what the "we really mean it" is a reference to?
No. I'll Google it though.
And... nothing. It's the internet though, have hope! There's someone out there who knows.
I think it's one of those barbershop injokes that everybody pretends to get

Does anyone have the original sheet music for this or know where to find it?
It's by the Mills Brothers, you could probably find it on Mojim.com
Does anyone know if they're still together? Or is Tony permanently back with Max Q

Not a fan of this rendition, whatsoever.
