I have 8 kids too and my budget would be $700 for them all😅😂😂
That's probably like £500 in the UK, and there is no way anyone is spending that much on each child. We have uniforms, which makes a big difference. However, the cost of a whole set plus shoes is still expensive. I guess they have the means for it, so good luck to them.
Mrs Kora has a beautiful family and I enjoy that she and family share a peek into their lives. 😊

Yea I know about high waters. Back in school they would crack on you if you wore high waters. I had to make sure my pants were long leg. 😂😂😂
A 700.00 budget?😮 There were 6 kids in my family. Back in the 70s and 80s, I think we got 100.00 for our school clothes.
Just happy to see that they are not brand name crazy. It’s so expensive.
Shoes alone are at least $150 for teenage boys. $700 is definitely an average budget in 2024.

If you took them to a nice thrift store they have clothes hella cheap, most never worn you would have gotten a LOT of stuff for $700. Or a Ross, Burlington,etc. I remember in HS I would literally buy few things and wear stuff I STILL fit in even after 3 years and Noone could tell. 😂

My mom used to go and shop with my siblings and I until Junior and Senior year when I started saving and buying my own clothes.

Great times to be a kid. Back-to-school shopping for us back in the day consisted of trips to Weiners and Fiesta. That was it. If you were a little bougie I heard Auchan's was the spot but our fam wasn't on that bougie program. Y'all were from Houston so I know you remember all these stores. Most of them are gone now. :(

"Highwater" .... Where I'm at, we call that "Floods." But, same thing. I remember that being embarrassing, and something the other school kids would make fun of you for. Plus, I hated when that happened, just from a fashion stand point.

He definitely was not being rude. My son acts just like this young man but I know he’s not being rude to me as his mom. I’m sure if she felt that way she would have checked him for it.
