Actually, the hood locks inside, if you can lift the front without the release, it's broken. My roof rack is a utility platform, so I have gobs of storage, Have Fun!
Just got a 2003 for the Georgia south woods , has no rust no dents runs good, interior great , 98 k miles 👏 👍 👌 already check the sunroof and ran a weed eater line the holes its clear, checked the rubber grommets on the lights someone already re chalked. Will say take the fuse out under hood fuse box that is labeled info, that is onstar and it will drain battery. Getting a new exhaust system for the beast this will add some great sounds to the h2. Have fun and be safe . 😊

@@werebackGBO really the parts aren't that bad, but be prepared for replacing stuff as soon as you get one. they are old enough now, they are going to need work. On one I replaced all the break components, front speed sensors. Another one I need to replace the blower motor which runs about 130.00. And Hummer #3 needs multiple repairs, like finding/fixing a water leak into the cab. electronic issue with dash, replace idler pully. two of mine have bad oil leaks, I suspect need the rear main seal replaced which isn't cheap unless you do it yourself. But I didn't spend a lot on those two. I try to get them cheap. The last one I only paid 7500 for it. Needed the rear suspension replaced, but those parts are pretty cheap, like under 200.00. do as much as you can yourself and they're really not bad.

Lots of manufacturer recommended maintenance and rebuilds to keep these Hummers in tip top shape. We take care of them and they take care of us. Hummer for life, brother!

People don't believe it but I keep the oil changed tune up and it has 189,000 miles. I have traded other cars but I will never get rid of mine.😅😊
I have an '09 H2 with heated steering wheel & electricly adjustable, 2nd row captains chairs ...one of the last H2's made... I just put in a new l9h motor w/Magnuson supercharger & rebuilt stage 3 tranny with billet tq conv, output shaft, hi-perf borg-warner clutches, rebuilt my xfer case, driveshafts, 4.88 gears fron & rear diff, 37x13.50x22 Nitto Recon's, new front axels from RCV in PA, all Kryptonite front suspension, the motor has high performance fuel injectors all new components like water pump, radiator, alternator etc everything was replaced that you can think of brand new my truck is a beast now and is waaay fun to drive

@@DefinitiveAccess yeah the heated steering wheel is one that came with the car there the last ones made but there might be something on eBay I don't know I never really looked. My car currently has 141,700 Mi on it put on the new engine there's not very many miles at all approximately 3,900 miles
I have a white one as well. Best color, though I like them all. Silicone up those roof lights so they don’t leak. Oh, and that vibration you were getting around 70 is the wind deflector for the sunroof vibrating. Totally normal.

I just bought my dream hummer!! Mine is gray with black interior. 7.5 out of 10 interior but that will be fixed. 8 out if 10 exterior. Has only 57k miles. Plan to pay it off in a year and get The Predator treatment. Get a Diesel engine in there!

I bought a black one in 2005. Sold it in 2015. I regretted it, so I bought a white one in June 2024. They just scream badass! LOVE IT!

I may consider selling my 2003 when they develop flying cars. By then there will be NO need for 4X4 off roading… other than for nostalgia!!!

The front windshield black plastic trim will vibrate. Seal that up and you good to go. Clear caulk.
