    Good job leaning on the personal side for us to relate! I like The Verge because of the parasocial relationship I developed with you through the podcast. Respecting privacy, this is great.

    Watches / earbuds combo make more sense "space wise" or the Raybans as well.

    the way to get organized is to think about where stuff should logically be stored (as close as reasonable to where it is used) and apportioning space to all the things which should be in a given area

    These remind me of those gadgets before smart phones that were just for messaging. Forget the name. Then smartphones came out and those were done. These belong with those.

    My husband says one-touch method will save time. Eg load and unload the dishwasher by its cabinets and put stuff away without a rest-stop on the counter

    When people say the Rabbit R1's functionality should just be an app, I think they're missing the point. The Large Action Model isn't an app. It's an operating system. it tells other apps what to do. So I do think the technology will end up on a phone eventually, but it'll be the OS rather than another app on your phone.

      LAM is installed on a computer in the cloud, you can create an app on the phone to interact with it to perform all the actions.

      The technology is 30 years old and still I don't see anyone talking to computers. When they force you to do so (customer service) it is very irritating.

    6:24 People clearly won't want to carry around two digital gadgets this is why the phone will be like a Swiss knife accomplishing everything. Humane Ai appears to be too slow and suffers processing powers because of its tiny hardware design that is not fit for that type of work load. Therefore the phone is the ultimate winner in the Assistance gadget arena.

    Can no tech company besides Humane imagine a future with less screens, not more?

      Vision is the most technically useful sense we possess, why would we suddenly decide to stop using it?

    • @brandonreed09
      @brandonreed09 27 днів тому

      No because that is a very niche segment of the population that wants that future, not the majority. Go move to the country and eat a lot of peaches. I am sure you will find happiness. The rest of us will enjoy our screens full of AI bots.

      Even if AI got powerful enough to trust with your daily phone tasks, there are still things that are better with a screen. We are a visual species. Instead of eliminating screens from our life, we need to learn discipline to not lose ourselves in them.
      Start that journey by deleting social media apps from your phone and turn it into a tool. You don't need to buy an expensive gimmick device to reduce screen time.
