Welcome our friends and dearest viewers! 😊 First of all, we're very sorry this long-awaited episode is released 1 day later than expected on the usual Wednesdays. ☹️ Nonetheless, we’re both very excited to share this adventure with you that dates back over a year ago! 🔥 We visited this intriguing French castle that sparked our minds and definitely belongs in the TOP places that we've explored in the past 5 years. 🏰5️⃣ Now, it's time to finally release this video as the castle has been sold to a French owner who is, currently, renovating the premises making this castle NOT abandoned anymore! 🚷 👇🏼 Would love to hear from you what you think about this video down below in the comment section! 👇🏼 Videos like this take a ton of time to edit: this particular episode, for example, took me 2 weeks to make ⌚️ I hope you everybody enjoys it and, as always, any feedback is welcome. :) Much love from both of us to our dearest supporters and Explomers from all around the world! 💚 Maureno & Remon 🙋🏼♂️🙋🏻♂️
I honestly don't know why you're not at 500 k, minimum, subs yet. Hopefully you can meet this old lady soon. I'll be in Sudbury from 6 March for a week, cat sitting my Son's rescue because he's going to Nova Scotia for a week on business.
Heyy dear Maureno, Unfortunately I missed your lifestream, because I was not at home, and I didn't know, that you would start a lifestream this afternoon. I am so sorry, but it will certainly not be the last opportunity to chat with you while watching a new video from my favourite team Explomo! - Stay safe, peace and kindest regards.
The buttons on the wall that appeared to be electrical connections were actually the servants bells. The rooms were marked so the servants could tell where the bell call was coming from. It appears there were belongings ranging across many decades. Beautiful!
Thank you for taking us on this Fairytale Castle Tour. I am so happy to hear that someone bought the castle and is restoring it. Brings tears to my eyes. Thank you
It would be so nice if these beautiful places were opened up as museums so we could walk through and see the history. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Incredible! There are hundreds of these huge houses in France that are now become a popular hobby to restore and make available to guests. As with Chateau Diaries and How To Restore A Chateau, these fabulous architectural buildings are living again. Thank you, I loved your video.
@@judyhoikka8400...... I feel the same way. Close the window dows and doors even if you found them open it may help keep birds and bees and others things out. 😊
Thanks for covering this timeless jewel right before the new owner endeavored in its restoration. It truly is a building out of a fairytale! I am happy to know this will be preserved for generations to admire
Thank you guys.A wonderful castle. Unbelievable the way it’s just deserted. Fully furnished like they’d just popped out fir the day and never made it home. So sad. Great to hear someone has interest enough to bring the whole house back to life. I trust they use sensitivity and care in the refurbishment of that beautiful property! Take care lads. Stay safe! 🤗💜😁👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼
Back in those days, they had groomers to take care of the horses, and they would live either in the barn, or small building to keep an eye on the tack/ bridles, saddles, etc. I Love looking through old buildings, and looking through books about castles, so Thank you for having created videos of this nature to share curiosities such as this🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Would anyone like to hazard a guess as to how much it would cost to build such a castle 🏰 today and to furnish it with all those wonderful antiques and tapestries? It is gratifying to know that someone has purchased the place and hopefully can restore it to its former glory. It is so important to preserve these historical homes for future generations. Thank you guys for a great explore. Gill 🇬🇧
Wow! What a fabulous place...I know y'all tried to get in there before...right? The room off that dining room is a butler pantry so they had direct out of sight access to the guests. The " food elevator" is a dumb waiter that would deliver food from the kitchen below ( most likely behind that looked door in the basement). It also was used to send the breakfast trays upstairs. The other room that was made into a kitchen was probably used as prep to plate up the food. There would not have been any kind of livery or blacksmith inside the house...that would have been located in an outbuilding near the stables. Those electronics were quite fascinating and the oldest bell calling system I have ever seen. All important rooms ( even bedrooms) had a bell pull or button to alert servants they were needed. Those stamps were called wax seals ...they were used to seal letters and correspondents ...and to identify the sender. That little room in the first bedroom is called a modesty room. The wife would change into her night clothes there and then slip into bed so her husband could not witness her naked! Imagine...lol. Our traditions have changed alot. The "sink" in the hallway on the servants level was just a water spigot. This was a water source for the entire floor. The servants could fill their jug, take to their room to fill their wash basin on their vanity. I know you had to have explored the attic and out buildings...can we please, please see it!! Great job y'all!
This was amazing thank you you guys are wonderful and I love how you go slow so that we can see every little nook. It’s awesome. You guys are wonderful thank you so much and God bless you both.
Thank you Maureno and Ramon!!! That was truly fantastic! I am so happy somebody has purchased this beautiful château and is going to bring it back to its former self. They certainly have some beautiful antiques to fill it! I’m so glad that you got to document it before it was not available to document. That staircase was breathtaking! Some truly magnificent pieces in there and all the books my goodness. Stay safe💜😎🤟🏻🍀🇺🇸
The castle is so hauntingly beautiful. The tapestries! You know back when they first began weaving those gorgeous tapestries, it would take one person an entire month to weave one square meter. Just imagine the dedication to make those huge ones for the walls. Thanks once more for the beautiful tour ❤️🇨🇦
Realmente é muito lindo!. Fora do comum!. Eu fico fascinada!.
I screenshot the one with the horse and the knight with a sword. I Google lens it, could find the exact one, but the one I found was medieval worth $750,000 us $
That room was called the back kitchen, where food was sent up from the basement kitchen to the dining room servants to place on platers are soup into servers kept warm then served by going through the hidden door into the grand dinning hall
This is a wonderful place and so many beautiful things. The needlepoint tapestries are made on a loom with wool yarn. They are gorgeous and all the pictures and frames. Thank you Maureno and Remon
Wow! It always amazes me that places are abandoned with all the furnishings. Thanks for sharing your work. I really appreciate that you are so respectful, and that you don't swear! I'm so sick of hearing f-this, sh*t, etc.
Breathtaking Maureno and Remon! You surpass yourselves at each video. I say it each video but you guys never cease to amaze me with how much good quality explores you bring us. This is a diamond. Such a military history in gorgeous France (where I personally think they have the best chateaus). The tapestries and that dining room were just a dream. I couldn’t think of a grander but more tasteful mansion. I’m so glad to see that somebody is making it a home again and I do hope and wish they keep it true to its heritage. I’m going to settle down with a nice coffee and expensive chocolates to truly do this video justice. Just perfect! 😊❤️✌️👍
Loved this! Thank you for sharing another beautiful location. So happy to know it’s being restored and the history saved so many layers of history in it. I also loved how you two both walked in together at the beginning of the inside exploration. Well done guys, very well done. ❤️

Enjoyed that more than I can say. Thank you so much for taking the time to show so much detail. Very happy someone purchased this property. I hope after they fix it up you could revisit it on a tour with the new owner, because I can't wait to see the half of the house that was locked up and the possible chapel. Stay safe and God bless you.
Heyy my dear friends from fabulous team Explomo, What a breathtakingly beautifully formulated introduction! - Beautiful English, lovely background music! - I loved listening to your poetical introduction. - Wonderful first drone shots of this miraculous fairy tale like castle. - Absolutely amazing! You were so fortunate and lucky to be able to explore this wonderful location, before it was purchased and closed again for renovations. Wonderful rooms with enormous tapestries and still very historical looking furniture in the baroque style. In the grand dining room the furniture could be from the late 19th century in the so called historism style. Also the smaller antique items standing on the furniture are probably quite valuable and rare, as I think. - Surprisingly small kitchen for such a big place! Of course I liked the big room with the grand piano from Pleyel the most with these interesting and very remarkable details, like that old pram and the beautiful paintings on the walls, as well as the wonderful chandelier on the ceiling. Wonderful cabinets with so many precious items were visible as well! - Simply amazing and lovely to see! - Wow, - and this oval shaped library, incredible to see! What an absolutely fascinating historical castle! - I loved watching, and I am already looking forward to your next explore adventure. Wishing you, dear Maureno, a lot of fun and still much more unforgettable moments during your grand trip together with Lesley, and as I found out, also with Danny, who joined you in Canada. How great is that! - God bless you all, my friends! Take care, peace and many hugs as well as kindest regards.
OOMGOODNES WHAT TREASURES LOVE THESE CASTLE TREASURES WHATS LEFT BEHIND IS EPIC LOVE ANTIQUES IN ALL ITS SPLENDOR YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING EXPLORERS TUSHAY BRAVO 👏👏👏👏👏
At 1.23:10 that wash bay is for emptying buckets. It was regularly used by maids to empty floor buckets and refill with clean water instead of walking up n down stairs lugging heavy buckets around.
The diningroom is stunning. The pram all in white 😍 Antique rocking horse ❤ Stunning library, very unique room. Another antique stroller, girgeous sleighbed. So many historical portraits and paintings. A very lovely castle.
This castle is beautiful and I am happy to hear that it has been sold and will be restored!. Bros of Decay also toured this castle and they were able to get into the other side of the upstairs and it was amazing. Thank you so much for touring these lovely places for us to see. I moved to Canada in 1988 I was 10 years old, I was born in Germany my mother is German and my Father is a very proud French man. I see now why he loves his country so much and I now see where I get my great decorating style from.
The other thing I love about all of these old castles is the wainscoting and the colors they chose to paint the wainscoting. The tapestries are breathtaking.
fireplaces are also entrances for birds which also keeps them trapped indoors not knowing how to get out and eventually die. the board with the names of the rooms would have been to alert the servants where they were needed
Wonderfull castle, library and very books, very fire places, green room... Thank you MAURENO and Remon.. Closed the Windows. Good boys.... l love yours...👍👏👋🤗🤗
Hi maureno and Remon. Wow beautiful French castle . Breathtaking and inside is beautiful. I hope people don’t abandoned it and to restore it so much history that would be sad. Great video.l Loved every minute of it .Stay safe😍❤️👏👍🔥
Absolutely amazing! I was surprised to see toilets inside a palace built in the 1700s. I did some research and found out that France had indoor flushing toilets as early as 1519, and public toilets came out in the early 1700s. What an amazing place to discover and to walk through. So much history. I wondered how many babies were pushed in that prim. Did look up and found out you can still buy prim's today, similar to the one in this Palace, at a cost of over $4,000.
Nice to see you two exploring. This sure is a beautiful big castle parts of history being lost. Wow stairs look awesome, books, lamps, everything they left. So sad everything is deteriorating. Thank you so much for this show. And I love that you two respect the promises the way you do. Love you guys💕👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thankyou so much for sharing with us!!!! I love how you two show so much respect not only for the former owner but for the whole place and everything in it , and also the history of the place.
I didn't realize it was Thursday until you mentioned it was a day late. Simply amazing! I love a French Chateau; especially the windows. I've got to watch later, I've got blood work booked.
What an exquisite place. I am so happy to know that this castle has found a new owner and is being restored. I hope you will get invited to see it once it is fully restored. If I was the new owner I would be so happy that you made this video. Thank you once again for an amazing explore.

Hola otra vez Maureno y Remon!!
I love all old things in life, somehow I live in the wrong time, I love baroque and other things and such a beautiful castle cannot be left to decay, it definitely needs to be restored.
Love the castle, sad that they left it behind, glad to hear it is sold, hope the new owners will keep all the furniture, especial the tapestries.thank you for sharing.
This is the best castle you have been through by far. The tapestries are gorgeous and the lady’s desk with the inlay is beautiful. The portraits look like they are very nice quality also. Wonder why they had time to lock chairs but did not take the time to throw sheets over the valuable furniture as dust covers so the finishes would not get ruined.
I’m so glad this is being restored. The tapestries in the rooms at the beginning, henryVIII in England had several of these made in France. They look eeerily similar. They cost over a thousand pounds back in mediaeval times so they’ll be priceless now, each one. Henry VIII’s tapestries hang in Hampton court palace in London. They’re stunning, silk and gold and silver thread, took hundreds of hours to make 1……beautiful.
Thank you Maureno and Ramon for the beautiful explore. It did look like a fairytale castle. Everything was so beautiful. And it was nice and long which is they way I like.
I watched a video of the same castle by two UA-camrs and I can see several things are sadly missing. The piano stool was upright in their video. The bike lock on the chair was connected to a very antique child’s riding horse. I noticed it’s now laying on a sofa. I don’t think the other UA-camrs did it as they were very respectful. I love that old castle. I live in the USA. I would love to visit France. Thank you for sharing your experience! The other video is by the “Brothers of Decay.”
a magnificent fairytale castle in France. so beautiful, so nostalgic, so revealing about the life of the 16th century, but so sad to the view that it is abandoned there, and destroyed in time. the love for castles and that period I was inspired by Blackmore’s Night (Renaissance Music Band) from legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple & Rainbow)

Wonderful rooms with enormous tapestries and still very historical looking furniture in the baroque style. In the grand
dining room the furniture could be from the late 19th century in the so called historism style. Also the smaller antique items
standing on the furniture are probably quite valuable and rare, as I think. - Surprisingly small kitchen for such a big place!
Of course I liked the big room with the grand piano from Pleyel the most with these interesting and very remarkable details, like that
old pram and the beautiful paintings on the walls, as well as the wonderful chandelier on the ceiling. Wonderful cabinets with so many
precious items were visible as well! - Simply amazing and lovely to see! - Wow, - and this oval shaped library, incredible to see!
What an absolutely fascinating historical castle! - I loved watching, and I am already looking forward to your next explore adventure.
Wishing you, dear Maureno, a lot of fun and still much more unforgettable moments during your grand trip together with Lesley,
and as I found out, also with Danny, who joined you in Canada.
Thank you Maureno and Remon for sharing this piece of history with us 🇺🇸 I loved every minute of it ❤
Hello Virginia how are you doing today
At 1.23:10 that wash bay is for emptying buckets. It was regularly used by maids to empty floor buckets and refill with clean water instead of walking up n down stairs lugging heavy buckets around.
The diningroom is stunning. The pram all in white 😍
Antique rocking horse ❤
Stunning library, very unique room. Another antique stroller, girgeous sleighbed.
So many historical portraits and paintings. A very lovely castle.
Magnificent place! I'm so happy that it will be renovated. I wish I could see its progress.
Maybe once redone they owners might let you go through!! This is just beautiful!
The other thing I love about all of these old castles is the wainscoting and the colors they chose to paint the wainscoting. The tapestries are breathtaking.
This place is awesome! So glad it is being restored to it's original glory. Hope we can have an update when it is done.
BEST ONE YET !!!! HAPPY THERE RESTORING IT BEAUTIFUL
Thank you for being so loving of places and doing things like closing the windows. Would like to see it after Restoration
I will watch this on Saturday evening because it's more enjoyable with someone else.
Oh absolutely! Hope you enjoy it and would love to hear what you thought about it 😊
I'm so glad you had a chance to explore the castle before it undergoes renovations. That place is beautiful!
Hello Carol how are you doing today
From Tapestries to portraits, an amazing explore! WOW! Thank you! Maureno and Remon! History lives on but needs restoration! 💙🌙
Hello Marilyn how are you doing today
fireplaces are also entrances for birds which also keeps them trapped indoors not knowing how to get out and eventually die. the board with the names of the rooms would have been to alert the servants where they were needed
Hello Connie how are you doing today
The beauty and splinter of this place is off the chain, totally awesome guys, this is truly awesome...
Hello Vicki how are you doing today
It would be awesome to go back when it was restored.
This was amazing. Thank you for sharing.

Wonderfull castle, library and very books, very fire places, green room...

Closed the Windows.
Good boys....
l love yours...👍👏👋🤗🤗
The tapestries were hand woven on very large looms (the weaver would sit) most likely in Brussells
Much love 🙏❤️📖🙌🙌🌹🍃🎶🎵🎹🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🙏🤗 I like very much your videos ! I love adventure ! Thank you 😊 🌹🍃
Hi maureno and Remon. Wow beautiful French castle . Breathtaking and inside is beautiful. I hope people don’t abandoned it and to restore it so much history that would be sad. Great video.l Loved every minute of it .Stay safe😍❤️👏👍🔥
Hello Cynthia how are you doing today
Hello Remon and Maureno, how are you? I never miss an episode of Explomo, every week I look forward to a new adventure. A big kiss and hug Brazil
Hello how are you doing today
Hello Trina how are you doing today
One reason why mirrors where so large in old castles was to help light up rooms when it was dark, the mirror would reflect the light around
Duh
What kind of question!
So beautiful!
How can someone not want to live there?
I didn't realize it was Thursday until you mentioned it was a day late.
Simply amazing! I love a French Chateau; especially the windows.
I've got to watch later, I've got blood work booked.
What an exquisite place. I am so happy to know that this castle has found a new owner and is being restored. I hope you will get invited to see it once it is fully restored. If I was the new owner I would be so happy that you made this video. Thank you once again for an amazing explore.
Loved the music, loved the house, loved the location. Nice.
It was an extraordinary documentary. All of your docus are wonderful, but this one was a particular highlight.

Hello Cynthia how are you doing today
You guys did a really great job of commenting and video taping. You are an awesome team. There were so many things in that house that I could use (LOL) I just love antiques.
Thank you for showing us around this beautiful Castle!🥰
Hola otra vez Maureno y Remon!!
It is amazing, places like this remain to remember history lived by men in different time!!!
Wonderful
I love all old things in life, somehow I live in the wrong time, I love baroque and other things and such a beautiful castle cannot be left to decay, it definitely needs to be restored.
Love the castle, sad that they left it behind, glad to hear it is sold, hope the new owners will keep all the furniture, especial the tapestries.thank you for sharing.
Wow this is breathtaking!! Those tapestry so amazing. I'm so glad to hear that it's being saved. Bravo Maureno and Remon ✌✌💯💯💯💯this was truly amazing.
Hello Susan how are you doing today
thank you for your videos abondoned houses and palace. it become one of my favorite to watch.
Hello Glenda how are you doing today
I’m so glad this is being restored. The tapestries in the rooms at the beginning, henryVIII in England had several of these made in France. They look eeerily similar. They cost over a thousand pounds back in mediaeval times so they’ll be priceless now, each one. Henry VIII’s tapestries hang in Hampton court palace in London. They’re stunning, silk and gold and silver thread, took hundreds of hours to make 1……beautiful.
So much history in one place. Thanks for sharing. 👏🏻🔥🔥

Thank you Maureno and Ramon for the beautiful explore. It did look like a fairytale castle. Everything was so beautiful. And it was nice and long which is they way I like.
Hello Debbie how are you doing today
Fantastic documentary on a beautiful castle 🏰. I had to watch it from the beginning.
Stunning castle and interiors! Would be great to see it restored. Great explore guys!
Thank you so much Marcel! Miss you man and see you soon again :)
Renewable.... Please renew and utilise this great construction....
