Warrick's Big Wing Video: • C6 Z06 get some Track ...
After six weeks we finally received our fully carbon fiber C6 ZR1 extended spoiler from Veloz Designs. We unbox it and inspect it to find some imperfections in the clear coat. We remove the stock oem third brake light and all four tail lights from the 2009 C6 Corvette Z06 to prep for the new spoiler. We insert the new hardware into the new Carbon ZR1 Style spoiler and apply some wax to each bolt head. Mocked up the new spoiler and used the wax to mark where to drill. Then we drilled... barely got that far, but we did. Installed the spoiler and reinstalled the taillights. The fitments is nearly perfect and really sets off the rear end of the Vette. We then head to Warrick's house to get his reaction and check out his new wing. Needless to say, after seeing his wing, I think I made a mistake not getting the APR GT500 Wing. I would send it back and not accept any flaws. I purchased mine from c7 carbon for my C6 and it was perfect. Is expensive as parts are they should be flawless..

Nice tip on marking for holes, I'll have to use that sometime. I feel your pain on drilling, I hate drilling perfectly good things, there's really no going back. Looks great though, I am a fan of flush spoilers. Have you considered going with LED bulbs in the tail lights?

what does the angle of the wing effect? like is it a noticeable change ?
AOA (angle of attack) affects downforce. Bigger AOA = more downforce + more drag = more cornering speed, less straight line speed
that's an extremely simplified breakdown of how it works but you get the concept...

Nope. No thank you. Rather use 3m tape. At least then the spoiler can be removed and the residue can be taken off of the vehicle if needed.
