**HEYYYY LOVELIES .. PLEASE NOTE ... ADDING WORDS ON TO THE CLEAR first will make the words backwards*** 🤣🙈🙈 but you can add any other temporary tattoo to clear first. It will be fine xxx
I think you can do the tattoo first, directly onto the mold and then pour the resin on top of that. Anyone know? And then after demolding, possibly do a thin top coat over the tattoo? Just a thought. I don’t actually know anything. Lol 😂
Claire you could use UV resin to cover the scratches, just apply a fine coating with a very soft small make-up brush or just use your fingertips in gloves to make a lite coating. 😉
Claire, just a little tip with your new deburring tool. I hold mine and use it a bit like I’m peeling an apple. It gives you a bit more control and you can give it a lighter touch. Hope this helps. Love passing around hints. ❤
Oh these are so pretty! I love these pendants, especially with the vinyl on them. You could even do personal namesakes ones too, they would be so pretty.
Claire, U definitely taught me something today...I never knew u could use temporary tattoos. I love everything you create. Between you and Sherri I am learning so much more. So thank you!!!!
Claire I just love your lil jewel pendants, they are so soft and sweet. Great job for your first try. Have a blessed day/night. I’m in the states, Tennessee
Just a thought - but the deburring tool used on the front face of these all around the edges reminds me of a frosted window. Maybe that'll inspire you to create a window scene inside of these molds for us! That would be so pretty and fun!
I have some fake jewelry and lace tattoos I think would be perfect for using with resin now that you’ve given me some inspiration! I can’t wait until I can take over the dining room table and get started! Thanks
Oh, these are gorgeous, Claire! LOVE the pink and silver. Tattoos fit so, so nicely. Thanks for the reminder about backwards wording. I would have forgotten, for sure! 😅 I guess you could put them on acetate sheeting first, *then* put that onto the clear front. Can you dome the fronts of today's pendants , maybe?
Hi Claire love these but like you said doing it the other way would be better finish 😍 sti.l love them, lying in bed watching you 🤧 thanks for sharing ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ xxx
I struggle sometimes trying to get the gems out of those smaller molds never thought about adding tattoos I would probably do it on the bottom so that it shows when wearing it
I've tried putting clear varnish on the deburred edges (only) and it really looks better, a lot better. I've also tried that on lightly sanded flat surfaces of resin but not near the result adding resin gives.
I still like all of them! Filling less and pouring a dome after might perhaps work too if it's tattoos with writing on? I know I would forget and have it backwards otherwise...
If you want to add the tatoos first, yes they will be backwards - but if you apply water WITHOUT TAKING OFF THE PLASTIC, it will then adhere to the plastic, cut down and insert. Be careful to get out bubbles that could go under that plastic. Claire, where did you get the pinch bail that's on the Harmony piece? I checked out your links and it's not one that's listed. I really really want to get this bail! lol Love your videos darlin, keep on creating! :D
Love your videos. I really dislike using any type of resin so I admire someone that is so passionate about using it. Your personality and presentation is what makes your videos work. I do like using polymer clay, have you ever tried using tatoos on it. I think you would like the results especially with a topcoat of resin on them.
I love the bubbles in the tip. Crystals have natural internal crushed quartz & that's what it looks like to me. Do you sell what you make? I cannot find a link if you do.
I think they are lovely 😍 l am a bit confused when you say add the clear resin first and then the coloured after, wouldn't that make the words back to front? Thank you for sharing 😊
@@llamasugar5478 if you do laminating sheets, yes, definitely make sure they’re sealed. But you could also seal them with something like Mod Podge instead of laminating them. But you’d have to do both sides and make sure you don’t miss any spots, including the edge of the paper. Maybe 2 coats if it’s something you can’t replace, like an old photo or something. With wallpaper, I’d do two coats. And make sure it’s completely dry before adding the resin. Quick disclaimer, lol, I’ve never actually done this myself. Just watched a million UA-cam videos. Lol.
@@llamasugar5478 I couldn’t find a video of Claire sealing paper for resin, but a bunch of her laminating things. That’s probably the best way to go if laminating is an option for you. Hi I'm not sure how you missed it but she did put a top coat of clear on after the tattoos, and she does say she ran out of time to finish them completely before the video was due
I really wish Let's Resin shipped to Canada 😔 You can buy a few of their items on Amazon but the prices are getting crazy. I just checked on these molds and it was $52.89, on their website it's $22.99 . Even with exchange rate it wouldn't cost $52.89 😕

I was about to ask about that! Quick thought - transfer the worded tatto onto a piece of acetate, lower that into clear resin, then fill!
Lol I was thinking that as you were saying that 🤣 ❤️

@pjshat 🤣🤣 you do know and yes you can .. I've done this many times on here ... the reason I didn't is because these moulds are faceted xxx

Your nail color is too CUTE ❤
These are sooo pretty!!!! Love that silver so much!!!
So pretty. Love them❤

I think my favorite one is Harmony. I like that long, skinny, shape. Thank you for explaining a better way of making these beautiful crystals!!❗
There all gorgeous.
Love!

OOOOOH! 😯 So pretty, Claire! I must get some tattoos. Love these. 👏🏻😃❤️

I would have top coated as well. Would have covered the scratch. Very pretty 😍

very cool I really like the idea could do the same with names to make personal gifts
Use just a little UV resin to coat them and any scratches will disappear… it will also let you fix the edges too!
These are really beautiful Claire, I’d really like to try and recreate these, not sure that I’ve got your patience to do such small items though! 😊
I struggle sometimes trying to get the gems out of those smaller molds never thought about adding tattoos I would probably do it on the bottom so that it shows when wearing it
I have found that with the crystals, don’t fill them all the way up…. It avoids that jagged edge…. But they are gorgeous!!!!

Can you redo it like you said you wished you had done it so I can understand?? I'm still learning here.... These are so pretty!
On the Harmony one couldn't you fill in the scratch with resin?
Where did you get the molds those are beautiful
Can one laminate a photo or (in my case) a scrap of wallpaper and add it to a resin piece?

You absolutely can. You just have to seal it first.

Could you please share where you found these tattoos? I love all your work so much. And you are always so joyful!
Heyyyyyy Judy they are from Amazon .. all linked below ❤️❤️❤️
What tool is that you are using to trim the edges?
If you do the clear resin first then the color resin will cover up the tattoo unless you can reverse the wording
The next time you mix clear resin, couldnt you take a gloved finger and spread resin over the top of the messed up ones?
I have a question. Isn't the text gonna be reverse, if we pour clear resin first and then put the tattoo?
Is there a reason you don't use a spray varnish instead of doing all that work sanding, since all you need to do is make the area you deburred clear?
When you have used the deburring tool, just go over the edges again with transparent nailpolish and they will again disapear! ;-)
I can’t find these moulds or any tbh for let’s resin! Or on their website? What am I doing wrong? It’s driving me crazy lol 😆
I found some on Amazon.

You should clean up the area where you de-burred the edges by adding a thin layer of clear resin... looks very unfinished.
Dome them
Car wax will save them
If you put the clear first then the tattoo then the colour wouldn't the writing be backwards when you read it? 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 yes - I pinned a comment

Very pretty, so do it in two parts: first, the clear, the tattoo, then the color?
