Heyyyyyy lovelies, In this video I am creating a multi layered 3D piece using the mould making putty form Just 4 you online UK. I wanted to create an open bezel but on a much larger scale. I searched my entire stash for a suitable solution and then realised I had this putty. Could I make one? I used the two part mould making putty to create a deep chunky open bezel that was perfect for the winter project I had in mind. I used a combination of mirror card, white vinyl, Cricut cut images and sparkle to create a 3D image of the most beautiful winter resin scene.

Very cool idea.. but unless those are zoo penguins they'd be under the Southern Lights (aurora australis) since penguins are native to the southern hemisphere

@@ClairesCraftyCorner I live in Canada and have part of the Arctic here so I noticed the penguins, but it's art not zoology class. And a penguin was our school mascot too! LOL It's very cute and love the way it was done.

Claire, put your putty in the fridge for at least half an hour before using it. It will be firmer and have a little longer working time.
I just keep mine in the fridge because it's so much easier to work with that way. ❤

I made a smaller layered piece using nail art stickers. Some areas didn't turn out as well as I liked but it was kind of relaxing, watching tv and building each layer.

I think the aurora borealis looks very realistic. Great idea, lovely excecution. I can't currently do resin stuff here, because it's been -30°C all week, but maybe I'll try this technique in the spring, with a slightly warmer theme than South pole and penguins.

Rein pro have done silicone mould putty for years. I use it a lot I even coated my pressure pot trays in it. The project was stunning

Claire, you don't need to make your mould again, that putty should stick to itself. Just pop the cutter back in and add a piece to build up the low part
