wow, I absolutely loved the edit man. it's beautiful. also loved the grading. did you use Davinci Resolve for grading or is it done on Premiere pro? Also, can you mention which LUT was used.

@@nkft1 Haha thanks! Just to break things down a bit more, the cost of having a secondary shooter tends to be between $400-$600 and for primary shooter it's like $800-$1000. On top of that I guess you say that I paid myself a couple hundred dollars on top of that because I was the one who handled the client management since it was my own project. But the most valuable thing is the editing. For clarification, let's say I hired an editor (as opposed to editing it myself). If said editor came back with exactly what I wanted without me having to give much direction then I think that would be worth the $3000 out of the $5000 budget. BUT if I had to go through numerous drafts with said editor, and give a lot of direction to get down to a final draft that I'm satisfied with - that's a different story. To me there's a big difference in editing and being able to come up with the story of the film. It's almost like being the director and the editor at the same time. If a wedding editor can accomplish both, that's when you can bring real value and of course - something like that should be rewarded with more money.
