lol...there's a brief scene in this video where I apparently also reversed the footage when I sped it up and didn't catch it during my review. See if you can spot the mistake!
Can another enemy spawn on a different enemies spawn tile when in the same cell? Or just on empty spaces? I made cells containing all mob types, separated the crystal crust and giant orges into their own, but something is aggroing. I did leave some blocks empty of spawn tiles in there areas. Great content!!
Wait sorry, this is the first I'm hearing about spawn cells. Is this a predetermined x amount of cells from the core? Or just a set width / height of spawn tiles? Edit: never mind! Apparently I missed the video right before this!
I touch on it in the tutorial video. this is the farm example video. Check out the tutorial video. I have a playlist that has them in order if that helps.
while I've never seen the mimites damage conveyors (I've seen them damage walls but not conveyors) that doesn't mean its not them, I just might have been lucky. Try removing the crystal crust and separating the mimites into their own farm.
Mold & Mushroom: 44 tiles each (352 each for 8 cells) Crystal Crust: 29 tiles (232 for 8 cells) Magma Slime: 35 tiles (280 for 8 cells) everything else (8 types): 13 tiles each (104 each for 8 cells) that all adds up to fill a 16x16 space 16x16 = 256 = (44x2) + 29 + 35 + (13x8) Mimites from Crystal Crust drop very useful/valuable stuff, so you might wanna consider expanding your farm by 2 tiles in each direction to tap into additional spawn cells (assuming you have the Crystal Crust supply to do so)
I'm way behind in playing, last I heard you needed to have a certain number of spawn cells of the same kind to spawn something, how does that work compared to one tile strip cells?
I made the active mob spawn with two extra spawn cells than you had. I’m having a few spawn tiles show up here and there at the end of my conveyor belt. Is that normal? I’m using all the same spawn tiles you did.
@@aljohns6345 Mimites have 1205 mining damage. If my understanding is correct, they shouldn't be able to destroy walls with a higher "damage reduction" value. That would be Lava Rock Block (1224 damage reduction, 1086 health) and Maze Block (1279 damage reduction, 988 health). I think Mimites will destroy everything else.
from my experience they cannot BUT I have seen them fighting other mobs in my mob farm and they do lift up spawn tiles when attacking. So I had to separate the crystal crust from the rest of the other tiles. This is apparent from the crystal crust spawn tiles in Dakon's chest when he shows all the loot he collected. I don't recall crystal crust being a droppable item so I just figured that its something important to note because.. there will be missing spawn tiles under your conveyers if you don't pay attention xD
stone moss needs to be kept separate from non-caveling spawns or they will always tear up the belts. Just remove the stone moss from your existing farm and put it on its own or with other moss tiles only and it will be fine.
hey Pattt00 congrats you won a copy of Core Keeper! Since I currently don't have any way to contact you, I ask you to please get in touch with me asap so I can get you your key! I can be reached via DM in Discord, Instagram or Bluesky. Or you can just email me. All my contact info is on my channel page. I hope to hear from you soon!

11:44 could it be here lol well done and thanks for this. Take it easy
@@lizardbell2014 lol yup
2:04 - where do you get this map tool?
The key is having the farm in multiple spawn cells❤ Thank You for that.

This is sensational work! Does this cover every farmable mob?
You can use radiation crystal to kill stuff in your farm :)
These mobs farm vids go hard! Please make one for the materializer.
Can you make short of what is spawn cell is?

Great video! Love you content #MAD4CK #PC
what is a spawn cell etc. did you touch on that in the video? im new so how do I identify multiple spawn cells.
I touch on it in the tutorial video. this is the farm example video. Check out the tutorial video. I have a playlist that has them in order if that helps.
have u a base tour video? Your base looks insane
I have one for my old base in early access but not one for the new base yet. Im still building it out.
I had a 100 tile row for spawning slimes. It felt very slow. Do you have to be somewhat near it for things to actually spawn?
I mention in the tutorial video you have to stay within 208 tiles of the farm, but must be at least 7 tiles away.
Somethings destroying my mob farm(conveyor belt) i don't have the brutes tho, i think its the mimites how do i stop it.

where can i find the ration i need for each cell? thansk fora great informative vid.
check out my tutorial video. I lay out all the details.
Mold & Mushroom: 44 tiles each (352 each for 8 cells)
Crystal Crust: 29 tiles (232 for 8 cells)
Magma Slime: 35 tiles (280 for 8 cells)
everything else (8 types): 13 tiles each (104 each for 8 cells)
that all adds up to fill a 16x16 space
16x16 = 256 = (44x2) + 29 + 35 + (13x8)
Mimites from Crystal Crust drop very useful/valuable stuff, so you might wanna consider expanding your farm by 2 tiles in each direction to tap into additional spawn cells (assuming you have the Crystal Crust supply to do so)

ya the mobs drop spawn tiles in their loot table.
@@DakonsMadhouse good to hear. I thought the mobs were destroying the tiles under the conveyor belts somehow.
How do i make them spawn only inside the farm
its a bug. they're supposed to always spawn on their spawn tile.

it's still working on v1.0.0.14?
ya its still version 1.0
I thought mimites can destroy conveyour belts
they've been busting up my walls but so far they haven't broken any conveyor belts.
Can they destroy all walls or just lower mining ones?
