Happy Saturday my friend ❤ A usual day I spent to help my kids for their learning but seldom shown here. I hope you enjoy a vlog like this🎶 Have a nice and restful weekend 🥰
A cousin of mine was struggling with comprehending math questions, I had used a puzzle game to help her build up what the matrix is, it took time with that tutoring practice that she was able to improve her skill.
Thank you for sharing your day. It warms my heart knowing that you will have many beautiful memories of these younger years. You are such a wonderful mommy! 💕
As a retired teacher, seeing how different families support their children's education is always interesting to me. Thank you for letting us have a glimpse into your lives.
I loved this video! I have a deep respect for both you & your husband and how you support your children. S works hard because he sees how hard mommy & daddy work. He comes by it naturally. It was so smart of you to eat before getting groceries. If I don’t eat before I go, I end up with a lot of stuff that’s not good for me. Thank you for sharing. Have a great week dear Linna!
None of your life is boring! We all love watching because it’s calming, heart warming and so interesting! You helping your son with his studies is just as important as you worrying about the veggies they eat, their happiness and wanting the best in life for them. You’re truly a great Mom Linna, I wish there were more like you ❤
Linna, thank you so much for sharing more with us. Getting to know you better is always fun. Congrats on being such a supportive mom - I wish all kids could have such love.
You are so wonderful to help your son the way you do. The Japanese education system is notoriously difficult, and it puts a lot of stress on students, and parents as well. I laughed when you said you were going to eat lunch before going to the grocery. In the US we say that it is dangerous to go to the grocery if you are hungry - you buy too much, especially things that you don't really need.
I make a list and keep to it. The only problem is if I shop with my daughter. I want to buy her things she likes but can't afford on her own. Good thing we're planning on each getting our own place later this year.
Hi Linna. I'm a single mum, similar age to you. Both my teenage daughter and I have ADHD. I work and have a side business and I do my best to be organised but sometimes it's a challenge and overwhelming. When I try to take time for myself I always feel guilty. I admire you and your content is inspiring (although also guilt inducing 😅). TMI, I know. It just felt good to share. I do love your videos 💚
Please do not feel guilty, you are doing a great job. Take a little time for yourself is indeed needed, Keep calm and keep going ! ❤️ but not too harsh on yourself and 😎
Hello again LINNA , Never feel guilty of what you don't show but THANK U for sharing your flowers n plants are beautiful and showing your support for your children they will remember has they grow older and they will see how you showed them that you were proud of them and how you care for there learning!!! And of course it gives you get pride of how well they do in school and in life !! So continue to do what you can do too help them learn!! It shows how you love your family !! 😊😊😊❤❤❤
Hi Linna, please let K know he has a fantastic English accent! Well done K.My boy is 28 and is in his last few months of doing a masters in paramedic medicine and has just been offered a good job, so like you i am a proud mum. Please let S know all his hard work will be worth it.Sending love.xxxx
K is doing fantastic at English. I know you said he was nervous because you were filming, it might be good to tell him that he has support from all of us around the world! It is also okay to not film all parts of your life and keep it private, especially if your children are not comfortable with it . I along with many others are content to watch what you are willing to share with us.
I remember when I used to spend hours after school helping my sons with their school work. Your dedication to their education will be appreciated by them when they are older. 😊
Happy Saturday. Linna you are a great mom and your kids will excel. Your son was reading very well. And your oldest son is just wow with his academics.
Hello, Linna! I apologize for not commenting lately, I have been very sick and was in the hospital again. Do not worry, I am fine, I unfortunately caught the new strain of coronavirus and it messed with my lungs, but I am feeling much better now! The doctors were wonderful. I wanted to comment especially on this video because I wanted to thank you for supporting your kiddos and their education. I know things in Japan are a lot different here than in America...I went to public school so I didn't have to take any entrance exams. I don't think I would've wanted to--I liked my township (and funnily enough, it is the same township I work for now!) so I was happy where I was. My point is, your boys are going to be so smart because you are taking the time to help them learn and grow. Sending you all my good wishes, as always.
I think you did a fantastic job setting him up to be multilingual. His Japanese proficiency will come. I honestly believe you did the right thing. Most parents where I live put in 1% of the effort you do for him. You are an amazing mom. Never forget that.
Hi Linna, you are a wonderful Mom being there for your sons. S will do really well on his exam. I love watching you support your sons with their learning. Have a wonderful week with you and your family.
This is nice and very wholesome. I cannot help but think, if my kids were still around, I'd be doing something very similar. My daughters would have been 8 this year, February 14th. My third, didn't know gender yet on son or daughter as we wanted to be surprised, would be 6 in June. It's hard to think how much time has passed since I lost my family. It's videos like this I watch or new ones I stumble across that help give me piece of mind and perhaps help me heal just a little more.
@LinnainJapan when you cutting questions, I remembered me doing thoes in 2022..my both girls got through that scorlarship exam.. Now they are in grade 7 and 9..definitely your son will pass that exam.. I'm sure about it.. ❤️❤️From Sri Lanka
Huge respect to both your sons and yourself. Your husband (and hopefully this channel) help the financial part and respect to that. Whether S passes or not he has gained so much from the journey. Your younger son is excelling as well. Im in awe of them both. Thank you for sharing.
If the boys are not comfortable being film please don't hinder them doing it. Their learning is way more important than us seeing them doing it. I like the quick glimpses of them and your Husband too. I think your a fantastic mom and teacher helping them. Your meals always look delicious and well planned out. Don't feel the need to put your boys on display for us. Most of us like that you respect their feelings. We enjoy your videos as they are. Be blessed
I know this prep work so well. A large portion of my time is going into that for my daughter. Here final tests are in a week and a half. And then we can both take a break until September when the new school year starts and she'll be going to secondary school. Though I don't mind putting my time and effort in it for something she wants, but I'm looking forward to having a bit more free time to relax, catch up with some UA-cam videos, picking back up some hobbies.... I love the combination of daikon and yuzu. I always make namasu with yuzu. Last November I found yuzu bettara in Kyoto. That was amazing. I want to try making that when I have some time.
Linna, you helping your children with their schooling is very common. My mamma did it for us in Iran and in the United States, along with taking care of and running the household. My mamma was/is the epitome of perfection. Hopefully your children think the same of you.
Hi Linna. Thanks for this content. I homeschool my son because of learning disabilities. It is a tough job. I appreciate anyone who invests their time and effort into their children. You are doing great!!!!
I’m curious, why do you need to cut out practice tasks, don’t they come in “practice book” already with empty space after each task to write in your answers and solutions?
I am a fan, I also raised 2 boys. I don't know what the Ed. Sys. are like in Japan, But, where I live the difference between Public School Learning and Private Scool learning is huge. So, we worked very hard and kept financing, too, their Private School Ed. From grade school thru High School It was worth all the effort!
It is so admirable how much devotion and hard work you do for your family. Whether it’s cooking, keeping your home clean, grocery shopping and supporting your children’s learning. I hope they all know how lucky they are and that you sometimes get pampered in return. Great vlog as always
With pothos plants, they like to grow upwards. When they start having a long offshoot, put a hook on the wall above it and loop it over. You can keep doing that as it grows. It'll benefit from it! Whenever you go to the supermarket, I bring out my phone with my currency conversion app to compare prices between Japan and Texas. Our prices have recently gone up a LOT. Your food prices are so good! Things like tofu and fish and meats are two or three times as expensive here. Even though I'm just shopping for one person, myself, it's getting very expensive and I'm trying to find things that are more economical but still healthy. I've lost 93 lbs since 2023, and am determined to keep losing. Your recipes have been a BIG help, but you need healthy ingredients!
