    Beauty only hurts because we, as women, know it is our main commodity. It’s fighting a losing battle. We have beauty for a small portion of our life and then we spend the rest of the time chasing to be back to “when we had It”. Some women really only have beauty and when looks fade, they have nothing!

      in the west women elect to squander their main commodity, and when that is gone they get cats and get on SM to gaslight and bash men . . .
      meanwhile a man in his 30-40s is just starting to hit his his stride (success), and has very little utility for a bitter, entitled, combative old woman. he has options and would be wise to exercise that.

    2008 I was in the carpenters Union in Chicago. I went from making about 80k a year to making 25k a year. And that was hustling and using connections I have in that union. I lost everything. 2 houses. A car. A boat.
    4 other men I worked with killed themselves. Their wives left them. And took the kids. They lost literally everything. Including their lives . I’m not blaming their wives. Obviously these men were troubled. But these men felt hopeless. And couldn’t picture living a life without anything they had previously. And took the permanent solution to a temporary problem. Which was tragic.

    Things women will never understand is they can't decide what men should love them for. If what men value about them is their beauty, then they are beauty objects. Period. Yes, they could love them for their personality, for their intelligence, their sense of humor (and I'm sure some do), but if most men value them for their beauty, then that's how it is. It's like a man complaining that women should love him for his video gaming skills.

    Salma said we have to compliment things other then beauty, but if that’s all she brings, that’s all men will compliment. If traditional values worked in the past, women cooked, cleaned, and cared for family, all these “skills” are valued. It’s not sexist to think this way, this is what traditional women brought to the table before women’s rights. More women today care about makeup, social media, celebrities, instead of learning survival skills, caring and nurturing a family. I see women today care more about their friends and are separated from all their family. I deeply think woman should be family oriented, period.

  • @robertmiller6444
    @robertmiller6444 9 місяців тому +1

    Also to expand on the "object" tropes - those things actually go to or speak to the underlying reproductive/mating imperatives. Men seek fertility as an evolutionary imperative and "beauty object" is the indicator for that so men seek "beauty" as indicating the sought after fertility. Women seek an ability to provide protection and resources as an imperative and "success object" is the indicator for that so women seek "success" as the indicator of the ability to provide that.

    • @kauffrau6764
      @kauffrau6764 9 місяців тому

      Exactly! Keywords = evolutionary imperative. It's in our DNA. People get ideological about something that is biological, it's absurd. Face the reality and do your best to meet the standards! There are plenty of average people who can find a mate and build a life and a family together; if that's what they want.

The problem is, have you ever noticed women will never admit to the long list of requirements they have for men? It always gets skirted over and brushed to the side. You tried to ask them about their skills and what they bring to the table, but they get defensive and say your pigeon holing them. I think this discussion about using "Beauty Objects" could easily be resolved by saying "Beauty Traits" or just Beauty to avoid the emotional reaction / response we know women will have to that.
    Because i can separate my feelings from that assessment as a man and view it completely neutrally.
    But many women can't do that so it just causes unnecessary friction in the dialogue and probably makes it harder to get the point across.
    I can see why it maybe be used for psychological reasons to draw fourth a response in order to get to the bottom of her mindset, i totally get that.
    But after that it's not really necessary in order to hammer home a point.

    Seems like the question is to what degree does each person have commitment. Rich can't lose his argument because of the statistics. It should be about how men and women can be more selfless from a materialistic standpoint and more focused on not hurting another person.

    Women CHEAR each other on for leaving their man, for ANY reason, let alone he stops making money. So NO, they aren't labelled as gold diggers.
    HOWEVER, if MAN leaves his wife because SHE chose to get fat, whether it's gluttony or laziness or both, HE is absolutely demonized.
    So as it's been said many times, women can have standards, they are actually encouraged to have them and enforce them, but men aren't allowed ANY standards AT ALL.

    Rich is right about a lot of things, but Salma's point at the end was bang on. Rich's use of the word "object" is what is offending the women because it minimises any of their other traits and reduces them to "it's all about the beauty". Indeed, beauty is important for men, but if we didn't value the other stuff then we'd just marry anyone who was good looking and we wouldn't be talking about how she has to be feminine, submissive, intelligent, and have all these other wife material skills. "Beauty object" is a very clickbaity term, and think Rich knows this. He's playing the game to get eyeballs on this channel. I wonder if he'd use this term if he wasn't a UA-camr.

    The point of calling a woman a beauty object and men are a success object
    Those are basic things we desire but don’t encompass everything that makes up a solid, stable relationship
    Men are visual and women know this which is why they do things like use social media as a thirst trap and I’m stating the obvious but Kelly is obviously filtering it through her past trauma instead of being able to accept the objective reality that Rich is trying to present
    This is why women are so difficult to engage because they’re easily get offended and hurt by blunt truth rather than trying to view it from a male perspective which is why feminism confuses everything and makes it hard to even have a reasonable rational discussion
    Kelly says she’s funny yet she’s emotional and defensive throughout a very civil discussion which leads me to believe that she’s just saying that because she wants to believe it rather than it being the reality and she sort of encapsulates the real problems we’re having in general when talking to and dealing with modern women who unfortunately tend to be delusional
    Saying you’re a funny person while demonstrating that you’re easily hurt and not once displaying a sense of humor is a clear delusion
    Maybe she is in other settings but if we’re judging her purely by her actions she isn’t and and in fact displaying that she’s easily hurt and offended when people with humor tend to develop a sense of humor as a coping mechanism to stay calm and handle difficult interactions so it’s an emotional cope to present herself as something that she’s not and this is a tendency of women
    Salma is doing the I don’t disagree with what you say but how you say it trope that women often do to control men’s speech as well

    I have to comment, Laura has more natural beauty than almost all of these other women combined. Not to mention she seems much more intellectual as she listens and has the confedence to wait for the right time join the join or not join the conversation. Note to the world many times the quite one is the one who is learning the most and knows the most as they are really listening. They are not just listening until they start processing they next comments if not diatribe.

    I don't mean any disrespect towards Kelly Levy here, but she is not being truthful towards herself and it is very apparent in her entire body language.
    She even contradicted herself when responding to Rich's point about there being a deadline for women's tolerance for men's inability to get their shit together.
    I hope she watch this back and realize her contradictory statements because you can learn so much about yourself from watching yourself when you are not pressured or in the situation.
    It is immensely helpful to course correct yourself.
    I as a man would also not view the scenario described as a gold digger, i would also see the woman leaving as expected coz i wouldn't myself put up with that crap.
    In the end you have to respect yourself before you can respect someone else.
