Kohima district administration comes in rescue of daily wage labourers and stranded travellers

- After a video on wage labourers plea on their hardship by the channel, the Kohima district administration comes in rescue of daily wage labourers and stranded travellers by giving them ration setting up a relief distribution camp at Kohima local ground. They also distributed water for the labourers where we showed the video of the labourers plea for water during the lockdown. The relief items will be distributed between 10:00 A.M to 2:00 P.M for stranded travellers, daily wagers... As of today.... I saw the stranded people who are getting the rations are just biharis n plains.... I feel bad sometime.. Yes we r helping one another but today at local ground many nagas came clueless.. And it seems writing names has been already done in advance.. All names called out were non locals..
Many nagas r facing the problem which is really sad to see. N the information is not clear as written in the newspaper.
Grt that atleast something is on the work!! But better steps must be taken to help the nagas as well!!

we nagas help non local as much as we can and when it comes to outside nagaland, our people gets abused n discriminated.. its just pointless sometimes of us being nice to non locals😣

Appreciate the good deeds.. but I am pretty sure and can broadly say that through proper and systematic survey/comparison we'll find that the savings of those so called non locals/migrated daily wage earners will be definitely higher than many of the locals even within the city exclusive of the rurals

The colony council should estimate and provide some relief to daily wage earners and poor students who are stranded in rent house in Kohima and Dimapur. There are many how are going through a crucial time with no end meets.

There are some students staying in rented houses who needs govt help. Even poor villagers in all the districts

They should call colony wise representative I.e chairman inorder to reach out daily wage people ......please I request our District admin. To pliz take into serious consideration I cld see people .......r ruining out of food coz they dnt hav ny income now to buy even salt.

It's really weird when our ppl Help non locals there we are here hearing the names corona chinies n so on n it's hard to see some videos that our friends were not even allowed to buy the essential things
